Things are getting real friends

I can't unfortunately. Cybersecurity matters are too sensitive for me to share in detail. Sorry for vague posting, I just had to say something. Situation on the ground is real.

being an asian girl in sf is guys jokingly asking if you’re a CCP spy and you don’t have the heart to tell them they’re not even remotely as important as they think they are to get honeypotted in the first place

OPENAI to EMPLOYEES: If someone is trying to seduce you, first consider — could they be a spy???
OpenAI is warning its employees about honeypot spies and strangers with children in playgrounds ... a very fun one with @georgia_wells and @MeghanBobrowsky:

LLMs are magical alien technologies we’ve managed to conjure up from a distillation of the internet. Even if progress completely stalls, we have years worth of value to harness from what we already have. In other words, these lego bricks still haven’t been put together in the most obvious combinations.

Building a cube where every face is a portal to an interactive 3D world. Lifting the curtain on the first one: a sunlit coral reef. It’s still a work in progress, but I couldn’t stop myself from sharing.

I am going to make a group chat full of people hacking insanely cool things onto hardware.
Reply or retweet and I’ll add you to the chat.
I have discovered $50 amazon photo frames to be the PERFECT home display screen
They can be rooted, updated to run a modern browser, have WiFi and can be powered from USB
1280×800 resolution with a nice touch screen
I detailed how to hack these yourself in my latest video

As agents use more of the internet and more apps for us, should UI still be optimized for humans? Does it even have to be beautiful?
Wiz co-founder Yinon Costica on how product design could change in the future, when the user is an agent:
“as a product leader, I'm looking at Wiz, and I realize that we have our user interface, and it's beautiful and everything, but over time, more and more of it will be consumed through the eyes of an agent, right? Maybe I just want to make sure that the agents get the information they need, and I need to attach an MCP server to every website”
NEW: Wiz co-founder Yinon Costica says cybersecurity is in an AI “twilight zone.”
@wiz_io scaled from $1M to $100M ARR in 18 months. Google acquired it for $32B, the largest acquisition in Google’s history.
I sat down with Yinon at Wiz HQ in Tel Aviv to talk about the AI cyber arms race and how to secure a world increasingly run by agents.
His warning: right now, it’s easier for an attacker to use AI to launch an attack than for a company to deploy AI defenses across its entire business.
“The attacker needs to find one thing. Defenders have to protect everything all of the time.”
His longer-term view is more optimistic. AI could give defenders the ability to secure their entire codebase continuously, with a crucial advantage: they know their own environments better than attackers do.
One of the most interesting points: he sees the biggest unsolved problem in cybersecurity as getting companies to actually adopt the tools that already exist. That means building trust in agents, breaking down internal silos and rethinking processes that depend on constant human approval.
We also cover:
*Meeting his co-founders at 18 at the first day of the IDF
*The customer conversations that became Wiz
*Building the first AI vulnerabilities researcher
*The vulnerabilities they found in DeepSeek
*Whether he would give an AI agent access to his credit card and sensitive data
*What Google’s models, compute and threat intelligence unlock for Wiz
*What their product will look like when more of its users are agents than humans
