The Geno thread for Brawl is 441 pages, 18,000 posts.
The Geno thread for Smash 4 is only 96 pages, around 4,000 posts.
...The Geno thread for Ultimate is 3744 pages and over 150,000 posts
This may have finally convinced me, Ultimate needs its own separate video
I have finished the script for Smash 4, over 105 paragraphs.
I am genuinely contemplating if I should compile the first 4 games into 1 video, and then giving Ultimate its own separate video, or keep the course and still do 1 massive video of them all instead.
Choices, choices
And then the grown adults start shoving the kids out the way to get the candy and then they start hoarding it and then they start selling them at inflated prices and the kids can't enjoy the candy anymore because they don't have a lot of money
Wait where have I seen this before
I want to get more into Fire Emblem, but I genuinely get so autistic about the perma-death, I don't want anyone to die so I save scum, can anyone recommend me any tips?
Also yes I have reached the part of the video where Fire Emblem started pissing off most of the Smash fanbase
Hypothetical: I trick a ball and gun gamer to play Killer7 because it has first person shooting
What happens?
What is this fake leak of K Rool, where the hell did this render come from?
I can't put my finger quite on why, but it just looks...wrong
If you think about it, with Sony bowing out of physical games Nintendo is going to completely devour every single Japanese retail chart now, if they haven't already
Xbox is a corpse over there and Sony doesn't have to tell you their digital sales numbers
Analyst says Nintendo "saved" the Japanese console market, sector would have been "completely eliminated" without Switch's success gonintendo.com/contents/6514…
If I think something is worth archiving during my search I'll post it here, and these definitely need to be archived.

What a fucking time capsule
I have seen nothing but fandom discourse for fandoms i'm not even apart of today so it must be a slow weekend
I just remember when Undertale was huge back in 2015/2016 and people would chastise streamers if they killed their favorite characters, now every fandom feels like that
It really does hit you like it did back in 1998, the exact same emotions beat-for-beat.
The first time entering, it looks amazing, its beautiful.
And then as you play through the game it starts to dawn on you: There's nothing here
My only wish before the direct; I really hope this isn't another 1:1 remake
Like I mean, same world/dungeon design, same puzzles, Water Temple still sucks, Still the same N64 game but the graphics are better, I don't want that
I'll take a reimagined version over the same game
I don't think that its due to expiring contracts, a lot of Japanese developers were all in on Sony during the 6th gen and beyond, and I think that bred internal fanboy-ism that lasted for several years
(This was from an actual Spike Chunsoft GDC conference in 2015 lmao)
Yes they did. All of Sony’s 3rd party support from the PS1-PS4 was completely bought and paid for with appalling anti-developer exclusivity contracts.
It’s not a coincidence that the major 3rd party games that defined the PS1, PS2 and PS3 libraries are all coming to Nintendo platforms now after decades of waiting. It screams contract expiration.
