The greatest intelligence failure in American history may not have been a foreign operation. It may have been America's inability to protect itself from its own president.
For years, the evidence of Trump's extraordinary loyalty to Moscow has been mounting. His admiration for Putin, his attacks on NATO, his possession of highly classified American defence secrets, and his repeated willingness to advance Russian interests.
Yet the most extraordinary part of this entire scandal is the American state itself. The FBI, the intelligence community, Congress and the entire national security apparatus have proved incapable of protecting the country from a president whose conduct has repeatedly raised profound questions about his loyalty.
Russia spent decades trying to defeat the United States from the outside. Now Putin can watch an American president dismantle the Western order from within.
And the institutions built to defend America have been unable to stop him.
What an extraordinary national humiliation.

This looks a bit like mission creep to me. The RAF can be deployed to defend Saudi Arabia but not to defend Ukraine from russia which is a more direct threat to us. This sucks!

Комуна Хьє - Тоструп прийняла чимало українських біженців, і спілкування з ними, за словами мера, відкрило йому очі на війну. Міхаель Ціглер керує комуною з 2006 року, це один із найдосвідченіших мерів країни.
Волонтерська організація Biler til Ukraine (Автомобілі для України) восени доправила до Києва чергові 10 авто, за кермом одного з них був Ціглер. Всього ця організація передала майже тисячу машин, серед яких мікроавтобуси й машини швидкої допомоги.
Мені подобаються такі історії. Він міг провести відпустку де завгодно, але поїхав за дві тисячі кілометрів допомагати українцям.
Окрема подяка сотням данських волонтерів, які роблять те саме.

Ukraine just to put to rest 2 parents and 5 of their children. 3 of their children were buried earlier.
A whole family killed by Russia.
The reason that they were buried separately although both parents and their 8 children were hit by the same Russia air strike that ripped through their home, was due to it taking 2 months of DNA testing to identify their bodies.
This should have never happened to Olena and Artem Voronov and their 8 children. This war should not be happening against Ukrainians.
The only way to stop this war is by destroying the Russians they send and by destroying the Russian war machine and everything that finances it.
Mark my words, Russia will not stop until it is forced to. You cannot negotiate with these fucking animals.
