Happy birthday to a very special lady and someone I’m blessed to call my sister, LaTanya Jackson! From acting to directing and producing, God has blessed you with so many talents! I hope today was amazing, and I’m praying for many more incredible birthdays to come.

I had a great time speaking today at the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Procurement Summit with our incredible Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and former Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration Maria Contreras-Sweet! We spoke to a packed room of small business owners about procurement opportunities to look forward to given all of the high profile sporting events heading to Los Angeles. It was important to me to address the audience about ways to prepare for the opportunities that will come and how to position themselves to grow their businesses. Thank you Mayor Bass and the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission for having me today!

Cookie and I enjoyed watching a 33-31 thriller for our Commanders - the first win of the season against the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks! It was a total team effort on both offense and defense led by our QB Marcus Mariota who finished with 3 touchdowns and managed the clock well. I’ve enjoyed watching how much our defense has improved from last year to this year these last few games. It was great to see Commanders fan and NBA Champion Josh Hart at today’s game! I drafted Josh Hart when I was President of Basketball Operations at the Lakers and I always enjoy catching up with him.

I want to thank BMO Bank U.S. President, Aron Levine and BMO Head, U.S. Commercial Bank Tony Sciarrino for allowing me to be the keynote speaker at their executive dinner tonight where they hosted 60 CEOs and their spouses from around the country at Pelican Hill Resort.

I remember when Dr. Jerry Buss was building the Showtime Lakers and searching for someone who could bring a unique presence to the organization as a PA announcer. He wanted a voice that was powerful, memorable, and distinct – that was Lawrence Tanter.   As someone who was both a fan and a friend of Lawrence when he was disc jockey on multiple jazz radio stations in Los Angeles, long before he stepped behind the Lakers microphone, I could not have been happier. For more than 40 years, his baritone voice was the sound of the Lakers franchise and he was an integral part of many Laker Championships, right alongside us players. He will be missed by more than just Lakers fans, Lawerence will be missed by the entire jazz community who loved his music and velvet voice. Rest in peace my friend!

Cookie and I want to wish our great friend of over 40 years - Holly Robinson Peete a very happy birthday 🎂 We love you!

Cookie and I want to congratulate our Los Angeles Dodgers, Dave Roberts and his staff along with Dodger fans around the world for clinching the NL West title for the 13th time in 14 years!

Congratulations to my good friend Baseball Hall of Famer @davewinfieldhof on his new book!!

Happy 35th anniversary to my forever love, Cookie. 35 years of you choosing me, building with me, and holding this family together with a grace I’ll never take for granted. You've been my partner in every real sense of the word…through the years that made the highlight reels and the ones that didn't. "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." (Proverbs 31:29) That's you, in every season my love. I love you more today than the day I put your ring on your finger. Here's to many more years of loving you ❤️

I had the honor of delivering the keynote yesterday afternoon at Alibaba.com’s CoCreate 2026 - standing in front of 10,000+ founders, creators, and business leaders at the LA Convention Center to share my journey and the real lessons behind how to WIN in business. I want to thank Alibaba.com’s President Kuo Zhang for the invitation and for building a space where entrepreneurs come together to grow!
