If you look at Old Kratos and say that yeah, I want to play as that version instead of mature version. I don’t think you could call yourself well-adjusted man if you idolize a destructive POS. Most fans prefer the current Kratos over the old version.

My advice, stop watching ppl like Rev, Hero Hei and other cultural war grifters. What you are saying is exaggerated nonsense spouted by them. Game Journalists weren’t the ones criticizing Kratos. It was Fans. You could not sell that same character today and have ppl like him.

Again, only overly pretentious game journalists & feminists hated Kratos. Loads of God of War fans loved his character, for being unabashedly angry & brutal. Imagine if they took Sonic's 90's tude, in order to make him more of a "quriky mc chungus" hipster character?

Dude, most GOW fans didn’t like him after the third game. It was fans who weee talking the most shit about him. It was fans who showcased disdain for the person Kratos. Most videos on the original trilogy are done by fans. And it usually has a level of hate aimed at Kratos.

"Maturing" means not neutering the character, to make them more palatable to overly sensitive people. God of War was a household name BECAUSE Kratos was a complete bastard, who was strong AF! There's a reason they called GOW 2018 "Soy of War".

Sensitive ppl. He was changed because his character was unlikable and unsalvagable. Having him become a father and maturing was the best thing to happen to his character. You can’t market the same character over and over against without making changes to keep them fresh.

The funny thing is in GOW lore, Kratos eventually remarried and had a new family after leaving Greece for the Nordic Lands. He’s also grown wise in his old age, and realizes how foolish he was for allowing his anger to get the best of him well after he got his revenge on Ares.

I miss old God of War games with the original Kratos full of rage and masculinity. Nobody asked for this Faye spin-off game, just change the name of the franchise if Kratos is not the protagonist, then it is not a God of War.

You are a not a fan of the series. I can tell. Ppl hated Kratos after the third game in the Greek saga. He literally destroyed his world after being repeatedly told by Athena the negative impact killing the olympians would have on Greece and he DID NOT listen.

He literally kills himself to restore hope to the world. Kratos was a rage fueled manchild that blamed all his actions on others and didn’t give a shit about the consequences. No body liked Kratos’ character for a whole decade after third game. I remember ppl talking..

Shit about him on forums and videos about the series. Ppl hated Kratos. He was never suppose to be a role model. There is no way ppl are gonna want to play a new game with this same old version of Kratos. Santa Monica realized that and matured the character.

He hasn’t been GOW since the beginning of the third game, you fucking idiot. Zeus stripped him of that title. The game is called GOW because it’s a spin-off that takes place in the same universe and is running parallel to the first two Norse games. Talk about larping as a fan.

Mystique isn’t really attractive once you remember the evil shit she has done in the comics. I don’t view the bitch as a sex symbol. I don’t make my characters look like Eve in my comics. Daphne looks different in the comics. Plus, she’s a minor villian character.
