This is a huge reason why I can never get into Forever. It feels nothing like Classic. You know, the entire appeal of Classic+ in the first place. Retail UI, retail quest writing, retail HD models with no option to turn them down to SD. The soul has been ripped out.

no but fr, also old quests TELL you where to go "south of the great lake" etc vs new ones just assume the tool tip will point the way i dont like that. let me have to go find the quest area by using the quest text. I dont want map markers

All the clips people are sharing to "prove" auto jumping is bad just makes me think of those infomercials where people struggle with basic stuff like using cutlery or their toaster.

Legitimately was unable to even play Zero Company and had to refund because the game is so unoptimized. I can play XCOM 2 at max settings without issue.

Dear Game Developers, Stop forcing PC Gamers to have a GPU that requires Ray Tracing to play your game There are already too many examples of games doing this and completely failing in sales on PC It should be an option, not a requirement

Absolutely evil and sociopathic. This only negatively affects the underpaid food workers by making them look irresponsible in front of other customers. They didn't even do anything wrong in the first place but bless them they still try to make amends by adding in another burrito.

OOT discussion is so insane man. The game is so mythologized and put on a pedastal, that the game people are talking about 90% of the time is nothing like what the game actually is like in reality. The OOT in their heads and imaginations is not the real OOT.

1: The remake already looks like one of those UE demos. 2: HD anime/cartoon style games have been a thing for like two decades. Saying they can't pull off OOT's style in 4k in 2026 is just disingenuous. 3: We've literally seen that faithful high end renders can be done!

That would’ve looked jarring and bad; enhancing the actual detail befitting of the 4K output was the better decision. It’s a big part of why the Unreal Fan demos look so bad, their inability to update textures and using bloom to mask it

OK but seriously why does Nintendo still insist on using incredibly lackluster voiceovers to narrate every single thing happening on screen for their directs? They've been doing this for over a decade, surely they've heard the feedback. Is it some Japanese thing I'm ignorant of?
