learning to draw is basically like playing a roguelite. you’ll have shitty drawings, cool drawings that you can’t recreate consistently, but you’ll pick up things in each drawing to help with the next. and it’ll piss u off

Was just talking about how when I was little I used to make illustrations every day. Even not even that long ago I was at least getting art done within the week. I can barely draw a simple sketch anymore for myself. It’s been so hard and I just miss it lol

Oh my God, I still clench my teeth every time I think about that commission I did for that guy in my early days as an artist. It was such a bad job. Why didn't he tell me anything? Stupid little arrogant artist (⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠;⁠).
