The dark wit of Berlin. Dangerously low water levels in the Rhine. Germany does trocken like few others. And then there’s the 🥂, with discernible levels of dry, drier, & driest. So dry, says @Rieseled, that there’s a strangely specific word for it... ed.gr/ee75z

Whenever we have this wonderful Pfalz Riesling we always think and thank @heikelarsson for introducing us and arranging for us to meet the wine master who is Oliver Zeter. This is truly a rather grand Riesling

Egg-cellent!! (sorry - could not help myself ;-))
My memory device for the VdP pyramid is "Go Egg!" (Gutswein, Ortswein, Erste (lage), Grosse (lage) w/ GG for Grosses Gewächs) So I asked @OpenAI to draw a cartoon of an egg being cheered on during a race while holding a bottle of wine but this image will now haunt my nightmares

Connecting producers + importers is not - repeat NOT - part of our business model. But it IS a big part of what we love about bridging winemakers in German-speaking Europe w/ the world. Here's @archetyp_alpine visiting @muster.gamlitz last week. The smiles say it all!
