After every conference, events, and fun
there's always the people planning, organizing, and making things happen! Great interview! 🉐🎙️
Tobias Bauer (@TobiasTBV) paid $300K a year in advance for six nights in a Singapore penthouse overlooking the F1 track, then booked it again for next year before the race had even run.
@tbvxyz, the Singapore venture fund and event company he co-founded, packed 17 events into that week: a two-day conference with almost 100 speakers, the After Dark party, and 15 events inside the penthouse. 21,000 people had signed up across everything TBV ran this year.
On the episode: what a $300K penthouse had to do to pay for itself, why the sign-up form decides who gets invited, and why TBV wants to stop being the side event.

Was going to make this a more faithful homage to the Spiderman Brand New Day montage, but after seeing the pics and vids I took during my trip to Seoul, I decided to make it more of a time capsule instead - of the things I did, friends I met, and memories we made.

Back home from @token2049 🇸🇬
I met so many people during TOKEN2049, and I even got to meet my team at @laguna_network <3
There was so much to learn, and tbh, I feel like my nervousness when talking to people has gone down a lot after everything that happened this trip
I even got lost and somehow ended up meeting strangers who became my friends 😭
Really thankful for all the new friends I made in Singapore, and ofc, grateful for the @crimsonzealgg fam too ❤️
Now that I'm back, I have SO many things to wrap up this week
→ VA Webinar this Oct 16
→ Attend the IRL University event on Oct 15
→ Finish two gaming content pieces before Oct 15
→ Contact some suppliers
→ Reach out to more potential speakers for our events
→ Work on my @Tangem content (I met their team in Singapore too, and they're all so wholesome 😭)
And ofc, I still need to get back to all the people I connected with during TOKEN2049
There were so many projects that caught my interest, and I'm excited to see where some of these conversations go 👀
Singapore was a lot, but I'm really glad I went
now time to get back to work 🫡

GUYS, I GOT ACCEPTED AS A VALORANT PARTNER!!! 😭💜
WAAAAH, I’M SO HAPPY!!! 🥹
The last time I posted about getting 900K views on TikTok and earning only $2, I honestly felt a little discouraged. But you know what? Looking back, all the grinding, creating, and showing up even when the rewards felt so small was WORTH IT. 🥹
This is a reminder that not every effort pays off immediately, but that doesn’t mean it’s all for nothing.
To everyone who’s been supporting me and my content, THANK YOU SO MUCH! We’re just getting started. 🥹💜
anyways, have a great sunday guys and gm ✨

Foundation of any Web3 business is the community.
The last thing that remains is also the community.
Why? Because they are more than consumers, they are your stakeholders, your die-hard fans and supporters.
Interesting enough, I have witnessed so many projects and companies (no need to mention any because there’s just too many of them 🤭🫠) that take communities for granted and seen them go down because of this very neglect.
Make your first 4 community members a priority to onboard the millions.
Community is foundational.
Community is the bottom line.

since april, we’ve hosted 60+ events, workshops, mixers and meetups across bangkok
last week, that changed
we signed a lease and opened a permanent home for the talent layer of solana in thailand
a space to build, learn, create, connect, ship, and stay close to the people building what’s next
6 floors. 400 sqm. one home for the community
superteam thailand is the cheatcode
and this only happened because @superteam, @solana and every community member showed up, supported, built, shipped, grew and contributed over the last few months
now we have a place to do even more of it
come visit us
you don’t have to be a solana builder. come experience the culture, the community, and the speed at which we ship
welcome to the talent layer
the rumors are true.
we just took over 6 floors in Bangkok
400 sqm for the people building what’s next on Solana
a place to:
find talent
find a cofounder
form a team
learn from experienced builders
ship faster
meet capital
turn ideas into real companies
builders, founders, creators, engineers, and investors under one roof
Thailand has the talent
now we’re building the space to help more of it connect, build, and ship to the world
welcome to the talent layer of @solana

A few takeaways that was interesting after hearing the last panel talk at EthConnect is how much of privacy is needed (public vs private chain) and how it will be used by governments and institutions:
1) Hybrid evolutions of vaults(deposits) and their strategies (similar to how you deposit your asset to banks to earn yields) will appear in few years (true that😉). @zama
2) In 2-3 years, we will see water-tested, proven institutional grade protocols that are also privacy-preserving @eth_systems
3) Efforts to preserve privacy but also more customized development on top of existing infra will be available in the years ahead. @axelar
The debate seems to be not about public vs private chains nor privacy vs public data. How you can honor what is necessary and important and program or design it in such a way that what you are trying to honor is preserved will be the key.
Great panel leaving many thoughts and insights!

Entering my AI era soon...
Was busy touching grass but this week we back and cooking again! (I've been touching the AI scenes creators these days and I can say that the bubble for this one is still small for REAL and GENUINE creatoors!)
So now I'm looking for two:
- KOL with 15k followers going to SG Token 2049 and;
- Creator who creates AI generated contents such as Video/Images
If that's you send a DM and if you know someone let me know!
(P.S.) This post was supposed to be posted few days ago
