Check out my article on Ladino, or Judeo-Spanish, a Sephardic Jewish language. I got to talk to some amazing people, such as @juliafpeck, doing excellent research on how to revive and preserve this part of Jewish history!
Ladino is a language that sounds like Spanish but is actually a Sephardic language that traces its origins to Medieval Spain.
With increasingly few #Ladino speakers left, researchers are working with survivors to revive this Judeo language. ✍@Madrtz

Very proud of this story that I reported as part of the @ucbsoj Earth Journalism program last semester. Connecting women's health with the disparate effects of climate change is so important to me, and I am honored to tell this story!
