The infamous 'Retakes Update' that introduced the ability to trade up 5 coverts to a gold released on October 22nd 2025 but since then how many knives / gloves have actually been traded up to? Here is a full breakdown of all the data i found: Knives: Bowie Knife: 87,087 Shadow Daggers: 61,061 Falchion Knife: 104,104 Butterfly Knife: 134,134 Huntsman Knife: 79,079 M9 Bayonet: 52,052 Bayonet: 56,056 Flip Knife: 45,045 Gut Knife: 47,047 Karambit: 46,046 Talon Knife: 26,026 Stiletto Knife: 42,042 Navaja Knife: 33,033 Ursus Knife: 31,031 Survival Knife: 65,065 Skeleton Knife: 40,040 Paracord Knife: 57,057 Nomad Knife: 55,055 Kukri Knife: 44,044 Gloves: Sport gloves: 110,110 Moto gloves: 95,095 Hand wraps: 91,091 Driver gloves: 108,108 Specialist gloves: 100,100 Bloodhound gloves: 9,009 Hydra gloves: 57,057 Broken fang gloves: 27,027 The estimated total number of knives traded up to since the covert update is 1,104,000 and the estimated total number of gloves is 597,000 I got these numbers by using csfloats database searching for pattern 1000 (which can only be traded up to) on every type of knife and glove and then multiplying that supply number by 1,001 Additionally we can estimate how many coverts have been used in trade ups using these estimated numbers (5 coverts = 1 gold outcome) which would indicate approximately 8,505,000 coverts have been used already on trade ups These numbers are not 100% accurate as @OehoeU has pointed out to me that there is a relative uncertainty around the expected value of roughly +/- 9.5% for gloves and +/- 8.7% for the knives but this does give you a good idea of how the trade up update effected supply numbers!
