NEW: Brentford FC co-owner bankrolled Andy Burnham’s leadership campaign.
As the Prime Minister comes under pressure over potential UAE links, more details of his funding arrangements emerge.
Burnham’s position is becoming increasingly untenable. Here’s what I’ve discovered:🧵

A woman called Michelle Farnham is now 17 days into a 3 week protest, living in a cage, at Trafalgar Square, to try and save a pig called Luna (who lives in an identical cage). She stays there day and night.
It has not had any big coverage, as far as I can see. I think it's a bit of a shame that violent and disruptive protest gets so much coverage, while quiet sort of self-sacrificing things like this, that do not harm anybody or any property, get less attention.
Whether you or I agree with her, or what she's trying to do, what an impressive commitment, eh?

THESE 2 LITTLE ORPHANS ARE HEART MELTERS ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
If this doesn't melt your heart, we don't know what will.
Seeing Harlan and Danny curled up together is simply unbelievable. It melts our hearts and honestly, it brings tears to our eyes 🥲
We can hardly believe how deeply these two little babies, two orphaned foals, have bonded.
All we can hope is that their mothers somehow know their babies are safe. We know that's probably impossible, but if we could send them one message, it would be this: Your babies are safe now. They'll never have to worry again. They'll be loved and cared for for the rest of their lives.❤️❤️
God love those mothers.💔💔💔💔
These two precious little orphaned foals are safe, and we love them more than words can say. They deserve every chance at a happy life. We only wish more people could see how incredible these babies are instead of treating them as though they're disposable.💔😡
Please consider making a donation tonight. Harlan and Danny, and so many other vulnerable animals just like them, need your help. Your kindness gives them safety, care, and a future filled with love. We can't do it without you, and they can't either.💔❤️

Dear friends
I have been on this platform since 2018 & am hanging on in here despite wanting to leave because of obvious reasons.
Just after I joined @BTWsanctuary rescued an entire herd of pigs.
Now the giant boars of that rescue need us all🆘

🙏
“URGENT!
These cats have been abandoned in a flat in Uxbridge.
People are trying to help them but there is no local rescue. They are running out of time as the council want to repossess very soon. The only offer of help is a charity who has said it will come and euthanise them all.
Please contact the big rescues and ask them for help. You know the ones, the big charities who constantly advertise asking for your money to help animals and then dont. Please contact their Head Offices, CEOs and Donation sites to get some help for these poor cats
Please share everywhere to save these beautiful babies. They are NOT ready for adoption as they have not been vet checked, but if six rescues took just one each they would be safe.
We are trying to make space for them, and if any rescues care to make contact please message Penny on 07970 484265”

No sane person supports massacring hundreds of Dartmoor ponies.
It’s time to reign in out of control quangos like Natural England.
They’ve lost the plot. We need to return to common sense! 👇

🐖 "Or it could be bought as an investment?" 🐖❓
🆘 Could some kind-hearted, animal-loving individual with a lot more money than me buy this and allow the pigs to live out their natural lives there? 🆘
Please contact Sasha @BTWsanctuary if you think you could help ☺️🐖❤️🙏
Dear famous animal advocates.
