Just had book club and I had nothing to offer once again in spite of the fact I read the book. That and I had a hard time hearing what people were saying. And that the World Cup was on and I indefinitely had nothing to contribute to that discussion. I feel stupid.
I almost never have been asked where I went to college, slightly less than about my major but way more than gpa. Don’t fret. Unless you’re a high flier those things count for little. Go to school and learn!
I think highly of people who have great privilege but are humble enough about it to try to make the world better for others.
I hope this doesn’t sound too shallow but there must be some kind of physical attraction at least to begin with.
Hi... Norwegian here.
When a woman finds out she’s pregnant, here’s what happens:
She calls her GP or midwife.
Appointment within a week.
7 check-ups across the pregnancy.
Two ultrasounds included.
All antenatal care is 100% free.
The birth itself is also free.
After the birth: A year of paid leave.
Then daycare at $124/month.
No insurance.
No denied claims.
No bill.
Just a system that says: we’ve got you..
If you’re a shy wallflower like me but you want to go to a gay bar alone, don’t go on a busy night. You will invisibly melt into walls like I did last night.
I’m thoroughly worn out mentally worrying and being frustrated with myself. It doesn’t help that I’ve dropped the ball on my psych meds and am just beginning to pick them back up.

One year ago today, Minnesota Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were senselessly murdered in an act of political violence.
In their memory, we recommit ourselves to the values that Melissa and Mark exemplified: building a kinder, more just, and loving world.
I need a social media whisperer because a lot of stuff goes right over my head. Feel free to apply for position. Oh you’ll be working for free.
I’m in the midst of a depressive episode. Not taking care of my medication. Crying. I don’t have the energy to care about anything.
