Head Coach Jeff Drinkwine just got hired on May 28th and is bringing me in as an assistant.

Since 2022, Team Progress has helped 23 players continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level.
Proud of every player who trusted our program, put in the work, and earned the opportunity to play at the next level.

EYBL and EYCL operate under the same roof. While EYCL is Nike’s “second tier,” it isn’t equivalent to P32 or UA Rise—the quality/structure is different. Programs like Boo Williams, NJ Scholars, Mac Irvin, etc. — played 17U EYCL. No. 8-ranked Asa Montgomery played EYCL with AOT.

Major has always been wise beyond his years and a natural-born leader! It’s been a privilege to coach him and watch him grow up!
One coach climbed the ranks as a player, reached an elite level, then became elite at teaching the game.
Another couldn’t hoop or develop players but recruits elite talent to play.
Somehow, they’re considered equals—or the recruiter ranks higher.
This is the world we live in.

My high school coach as a sophomore at St Joes broke these #s down to me and asked me if I thought I would be one of them… I was on the bench that whole season and he told me I prob wouldn’t be on the team the next year. I said yea and he smiled and chuckled right in my face … true story … you just never know 🤷🏽♂️

Sometimes you don’t even know when you’ve already watched the end.
You had to be there. And now it’s over.

Phase 1 of Progress Beyond the Game ✔️
Our athletes toured Nike’s PHK Campus (WHQ), learning its history, design and the work happening behind the scenes.
The goal: expand their vision beyond playing basketball and show them how the game can open doors far beyond the court.
The comparison between some of these circuits needs to die. 28th ranked Asa Montgomery played 17U EYBL Champions League alongside historic programs like Boo Williams. Kelvin Sampson sat courtside for our 16U game in Vegas. The level of competition and exposure speaks for itself.
