It's been a day since A Weird Village's Steam page went live, and I thought I'd share some numbers. 260 visits (bots excluded). 50 wishlists. It can't always be sunshine and rainbows ☺️ I had very different expectations for day one, and this has been my first real reality check. I'm actually questioning quite a few things about the project right now, especially since this isn't some slop I threw together over a weekend 🫠 At the same time, I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has wishlisted the game already. The support I get from so many of you still blows me away every time 🥹 Now I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

You can stack six laser pointers on a gun in this. That probably says enough about the customisation. Ballistic.exe is a shooting simulator hidden inside a mysterious declassified computer program. You load individual rounds, operate safeties and slides, and build weapons from over 1,000 attachments. Even wind, humidity and the Earth’s rotation affect your shots. But what makes this especially interesting is the strange program you’re running and what these tests are actually for. A free demo is now available on Steam.
