My guy recently reached out to me because he’s working on something new with his clothing brand, and he asked me to help him with a few ideas. So I decided to open Sketchbook on my phone and see what I could come up with. This is what I have so far, just a rough sketch I put together in less than 20 minutes. I’m still working on it, and I haven’t even gotten to the side and back views yet. I’ll share more as I make progress. For now, this is just me warming up and having a little fun with the creative side of things. Let’s see how this turns out.

You tell a typical Nigerian the price of a product, and instead of buying from you, they go elsewhere to compare prices. They find someone selling the exact same product at a much higher price, and suddenly, they start believing that your own must be fake because it’s cheaper. 😂 Instead of asking questions, checking the quality, or trying to understand why there’s a difference in price, they automatically assume that anything cheap must be fake and anything expensive must be original. They would rather pay more for the same product just to feel like they’re getting the real deal This is exactly why many Nigerians end up buying fake products. Some sellers take advantage of this mindset by selling fake items at ridiculously high prices, knowing that people are more likely to trust an expensive product than a cheaper one. Meanwhile, someone else might be selling the original at a more affordable price simply because they have a better supplier or a smaller profit margin Sometimes, the problem isn’t even the product itself, but the buyer’s mindset. 🤝
