Our AI&Research team ran its own summer school — 35 people, 16 speakers (90% in-house), 3 tracks, one week offline. We also welcomed two external speakers: @maximelabonne, Head of Post-Training at @liquidai, our model partner, on how Liquid designs edge models, and Solomiia Leno, Senior Data Scientist at @SoftServeInc, on LLM interpretability.

Your Mac can run a 26B diffusion LLM now📷 We just added DiffusionGemma 26B-A4B to Fast-dLLM-mlx, our open-source MLX inference framework for diffusion LLMs on Apple Silicon. Inference is ~30% faster than mlx-vlm 0.6.4 on M4 Pro, and the speedup is training-free (dual cache + parallel decoding with probability thresholding). macOS is harder for AI agents than most benchmarks suggest — a leading model trails by over 26% on macOS-native tasks. MacArena is how we measured that. The benchmark was accepted to two workshops at ICML 2026 in Seoul, and the team will be there July 10–11. 🧵
