Imagine I score my first goal in the biggest tournament, only for my friend to go to the referee and claim that he scored it. Then he takes it further and complains to FIFA, insisting that the goal belongs to him.
Do you honestly think I would keep passing to him or look at him the same way after that? Trust would be gone.
