MWASECS has decided to defer its upcoming conference to Fall 2024. We will announce the new conference dates in a few weeks.
MWASECS is extending its CFP for its 2023 conference to September 24th. Please send us your abstracts using the submission form on the MWASECS website. mwasecs.net
We are also very excited to announce that, as part of this year’s conference, Dr. Tim Sommers (University of Passau, Germany) will be giving a talk on “Across Time and Space: The Early Black British Book Beyond Borders.”
MWASECS is holding our next conference Nov. 16-18, 2023, at DePauw University. Our theme this year is "Economies." We invite proposals for individual papers, panels, or roundtables on any aspect of the long eighteenth century.

We encourage submissions that address the conference’s theme of “Economies,” occasioned by this year’s MWASECS location at DePauw University. With its new School of Business and Leadership, DePauw is committed to framing such study through the liberal arts.
The deadline for submissions is September 1, 2023. Please send us your abstracts using the submission form linked on the MWASECS website. mwasecs.net/

Who's ready for #ASECS23? We hope you'll come to some of our events: sponsored panels, the business meeting, the luncheon...we're excited to see you.
Please consider submitting an abstract to MWASECS's panel at the 2023 ASECS Annual Meeting in St. Louis: "Teaching the Global Eighteenth Century."
From the CFP: "We seek presentations on any aspect of teaching the eighteenth-century within a global context...
that “globalizes” students’ engagement with the eighteenth century. We welcome presentations on the teaching of subject matter that exposes, interrogates, unsettles, decenters, or displaces a Eurocentric world view."
Instructions on submitting abstracts (~300 words) and the abstract submission form may be found here: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…...
The deadline for submissions is Oct. 24th.
