🚨 Okay, THIS is interesting. Microsoft is taking Dataverse beyond the traditional Power Platform world and bringing it directly into Copilot Cowork, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT/Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, n8n and more. And the Copilot Cowork piece especially caught my attention. 👀 Describe an app in plain language ➡️ it can design your Dataverse tables and relationships, seed sample data, and build and publish a working app, with changes presented for your approval. We're getting closer and closer to "tell it what business solution you need" instead of worrying so much about which tool you're supposed to build it in. 🤯 #Microsoft365 #PowerPlatform #Dataverse #CopilotCowork #Copilot #AI #LowCode

Today, we celebrate The Curse of Monkey Island’s 29th Anniversary. On October 30, 1997, Online Gaming Review reported that the game had gone gold. It would become available in stores a few days later, in the week of November 10th. #MonkeyIsland #LucasArts #CurseOfMonkeyIsland

Copilot and agents don't pay off everywhere yet. Some use cases earn their license. Some don't. Most need oversharing cleanup first. I've built the business cases and run the adoption workshops. Expect straight answers on which is which.
If you run M365 or own the Copilot rollout, here’s what you’ll get by following me, and the best places to start.

Microsoft 365 admins: AI Builder credits are on the way out. On Nov 1, 2026: • AI Builder capacity add-ons reach end of life • New or renewed Power Platform and Dynamics 365 licenses stop including seeded AI Builder credits The features stay. The currency changes to Copilot Credits. The catch: credits don't convert automatically, and there's no single conversion ratio. If neither credit type is available, AI Builder runs are blocked, along with the apps and flows that depend on them. Find your AI Builder flows before your contracts renew. (MC1526652)

My favorite part: when I check off a task in my Daily Tasks list, the right Grok Bot gets told automatically. No copy and paste, no status pings, the bot just knows the work is done and moves on.
Running multiple Grok Bots? I built a single Daily Tasks list in Microsoft To Do that captures every request, lets me prioritize in one place, and automatically tells the right bot when something is done. Here’s exactly how.

Microsoft 365 admins: Copilot memory is now a records question. Two changes worth reading together: • Copilot now uses inferences from Microsoft 365 work data to personalize responses, rolling out through the end of November. Admins can turn it off with the enhancedPersonalizationSetting control. (MC1492154) • Purview retention now covers Copilot memory items. Updated or deleted memories can be kept as inactive versions in the user's Exchange mailbox and found through eDiscovery. (MC1478965) If your retention policies were written before Copilot remembered things, it's time to reread them.

Microsoft 365 admins: Projects just landed in Copilot, and the governance answer is the part I like. A project groups related chats, Cowork tasks, files, and instructions, so people add context once instead of re-explaining their work every time. Projects doesn't store content itself. Files stay in OneDrive under the same permissions, sensitivity labels, and retention policies you already use. Live now in the Cowork tab on Windows, Mac, and web. Chat and Cowork in the new Home experience (Frontier) roll out late October to mid-November. (MC1519856)

Microsoft 365 admins: Conditional Access now has policy plans in Entra. Define users, apps and conditions once, then add a rule per requirement, like phishing-resistant MFA or compliant devices. Each plan gets a name, owner and tags. Clean up first: 1. Find policies with no owner 2. Merge duplicate scopes 3. Retire what nothing uses xitter.cf/MSFTMechanics/status/2…
Scale Conditional Access without policy sprawl. Policy plans bring clear names, descriptions, owners, and tags together with shared conditions, so you can organize policies around specific objectives. Check it out. youtu.be/BUI5LZPoHAs Group related Conditional Access policies into Policy Plans and define users, apps and conditions once for every rule in the plan. Add a rule for each requirement, like phishing-resistant MFA or compliant devices, and keep the shared scope in one place. #ConditionalAccess #microsoftsecurity #azureactivedirectory #microsoftentraid #entra #microsoft

M365 admins: the new SharePoint knowledge base is only available to users enabled for usage-based billing. You manage access and spending in the Microsoft 365 admin center, and billing terms may change before GA. Set your policies before your Frontier teams start asking.

I created a swimlane chart view of the Microsoft Copilot learning paths for 4 people: --New/Basic User (free/web tools) --Business User (M365 Copilot license) --Maker/Power User --AI Developer The chart includes 9 categories of AI experiences, and the entry points/activities for each user role. This is not a feature matrix, but more about the key experiences for each role. Let me know what I'm missing.

Jonathan Haidt is de belangrijkste stem in het debat rondom kinderen en smartphonegebruik. Dat weten ze bij Meta ook. En dít is wat ze ermee deden. Schandelijk.
Meta had an internal PR plan to try and discredit Jon Haidt because he was a critic of social media. Meta was going to recruit academics, like Andrew Gelman, to write take down pieces. They were trying to turn academics against one another through a "whisper strategy". This is a very serious problem for open academic debate. If academics who share negative evidence about a platform are targeted by campaigns to smear our credibility, we are in deep, deep trouble. This creates a very serious conflict of interest for anyone who is paid to do this. law360.com/articles/2542517/…
