Nico Paz still thinks it's 2008.
🚨🗣️ Como player Nico Paz on facing Manchester United:
“We need to produce a PERFECT performance.” #MUFC [@sistoney67]
People were praising Dalot for his performance yesterday but I remember watching:
One is this which baffled me and the other one is in attack just before this masterpiece when we had a good passing sequence, went to their box and he did his usual step overs and lost the ball.
Spoke my mind. This can't continue.
🗣️ Keano on Carrick: “I listened to Carrick after the match. Fresh start. Purpose. Good run coming. Brilliant. What about bloody winning a football match?
Seven games, one win. That’s Manchester United we’re talking about.
And we’re supposed to sit there and be encouraged because the manager thinks he saw some positives? I must have watched a different game.
People will say I’m being harsh on Michael. I said it when they gave him the job: I didn’t think he was the right man.”
#MUFC ♥️🖤 Thoughts? 🤔
Why do they even show up at games? The worst possible start to the league in history. Did absolutely nothing the whole summer to sign players. Why don't you stay in the office and work on things that you need to?

Literally the WORST United manager post-Fergie.
This is the first time I genuinely can't find even ONE REASON to back the manager. What's the vision? What's the plan? He even switched to a back 3 out of nowhere today.
I feel bad saying this because he's such a highly respected club legend but my God, he's absolutely clueless.
Compare this with Carrick's statements today after the game. Again, Palace and United are level on points. We should be in top3. Instead we are in 13?14? Who knows where.
Sage: “I don’t know if I’ll have the time to turn the situation around! 😰
I just want to apologize to the supporters, because it’s not normal to show such a face for this club against this opponent.
We are not at the expected level. I’m truly sorry, because I know how important it is for them. (…)
We didn’t show today that it was also very important for us.
We didn’t understand the context in which this match was being played.
I am responsible for this team and when it plays like it did today, it’s not normal, it’s my fault.” 😔

Anyone else getting really annoyed with what Michael Carrick is saying after games, or is it just me? He called today a fresh start for the team, and that they are desperate to do well, he thinks we can still have a good season. We have 7 points from our first 7 league games, we haven't won a league game since August vs. Ipswich. I honestly don't know what he is watching, because what I see is a team that doesn't know how to win, a team that doesn't want to run, a team that isn't tactically drilled, or wants to play with any sort of high intensity on or off the ball. It's an absolute mess, on and off the pitch!
Jason Wilcox, Omar Berrada, and Jim Ratcliffe should be ashamed, they arrived at a club already broken, and they have made things even worse with their whole incompetence. This is what happens when the club is swimming in debt, this is what happens when you still have add-ons to pay from previous transfers, this is what happens when you don't have the funds to strengthen the squad in more than one area, but still expect to compete.
You are inevitably going to have problems if the ones higher up promise Michael Carrick and the players they will show ambition in the market if they achieve a Champions League spot, then don't deliver on it, we are where we are because of the people above, and it works it's way to the pitch! #MUFC
Worst start in history of the team and this 🤡 backs Carrick to last till January at this rate. Sack him now. Can't see these players playing better. Sack Berrada and Wilcox. INEOS and Glazers get the f*ck out of the club and sell it to someone who knows the value of the club.

Crystal Palace are having the same number of points as Manchester United. We had applauded our stupid team and the coach while Palace fans are holding them accountable. The standards are gone.
There's no path to being a challenger again. Pathetic owners & management.
Toxic in the away end. Chris Richards storms off without acknowledging the fans; Jorgen Strand Larsen runs to get him, has a stern word and drags him back. All the players booed except Jefferson Lerma. Pierre Sage was hammered with abuse. Paddy McCarthy stayed for a long time to calm things down and was greeted with a good reception. #CPFC

You absolutely hate this football club if you see this and still don't believe we're having a big coaching issue.
Obviously all the ex players would be supporting him. If this was Amorim or Ten hag, the discussion would have been how poor we look on the pitch and where we go from here.
He is at fault too if they didn't make the signings. A manager should be demanding. His neck on the line.
🚨 Rio Ferdinand 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 Michael Carrick:
"We started poorly last season and look how it finished. Let's hope we've got that little kick on this season to change things around.
“And you've got to stay with someone like Michael. Give him the time. Let him go out there. Let him turn this around.
“It's the first bump in his managerial career at Manchester United. You can't just turn someone's lights off at the first sign of trouble. Give him the chance to change the fortunes of the club."
[@RioMeets]
If we had won 4-0 with a thumping attacking performance, he can talk about how he spoke about the history of this fixture and how fired up the boys were.
Gave a 4/10 performance but speaks as if they were ready for it. Just stop talking at this point.

1 - Bournemouth / Chelsea / Coventry / Crystal Palace / Newcastle / Forest / Sunderland

Carrick's not improving anything on the pitch. What are you doing in the midweek training? You have a better squad than Brighton, Brentford and Hull. No hard work, no pattern of play, no risk taking, players out of positions.. Blame the owners all you want but he's very passive.

Why is everyone scared to call out Carrick for the horror we are witnessing week in week out?
It's time to go. Plain and simple. Can't stand one more interview of him saying it's not too bad and that we need to get results. Like wtf? Just get it on the pitch.
