Let's be clear: Ukraine did not start this war. Russia did.
What American national interest is served by helping an imperial dictator at the expense of a democracy fighting for its survival?

Ukraine gave up a nuclear arsenal valued at over $1 trillion dollars, including 4,500 nuclear warheads. Guess who asked Ukraine to do this? We did.

Totally shocked to find Trump is the amoral obedient puppet of an evil dictator; 10 years after we already found that out.
Beyond irresponsible. What part of enforcing a law passed 86-11 by the Senate does the President and his advisors not understand? It’s unconscionable that this administration is capitulating to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians every single day. If the President wants to actually bring down energy prices, he can do it by solving the Iran problem, not by doing a solid for Vladimir Putin.

This should be the end of his campaign.
Threatening to use the specter of government force to scare off voters should represent the terminus of the political campaign of a US politician.
Particularly when it's accompanied by the same rhetoric that incited an armed insurrection.
MIKE ROGERS: "I don't want to go to bed at 2 a.m. a winner and wake up at 4 a.m. a loser. I'm kind of done with that... Let's put retired or off-duty police officers as our poll watchers in Detroit. Because, go ahead, try to intimidate them, please." #MISen

You know what’s a going to get us all killed way before AI? Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
So it’s official: Reuters has confirmed that the White House gave the order to disrupt Starlink so Russia could attack Kyiv with no advanced warning. The US aided and abetted Putin’s killing of numerous civilians in Ukraine. Trump’s a traitor, a Russian asset who is using US military technology to help our enemy.

Eventually, Putin will tell Trump that handicapping Ukraine and lifting sanctions isn’t enough, and that if he really wants the war to end and get his Nobel, he should sell US intelligence and weapons to Russia. Trump will say yes, and a few GOP will tweet and sign letters.
US Prepares to Ease Sanctions on "Shadow Fleet" Tankers – FT
The administration of Donald Trump is considering easing restrictions on oil tankers belonging to the Russian and Iranian "shadow fleet," the British newspaper Financial Times reports. Measures under discussion reportedly include allowing sanctioned vessels to be sold to "reputable shipowners," as well as lifting sanctions entirely, which would enable these tankers to carry out shipments without any restrictions.
In Washington, it is hoped that these steps will help lower diesel prices ahead of the US midterm elections. Polls within the country suggest that rising fuel prices—driven by the conflict involving Iran—along with inflation, have turned many American voters against Trump.

Hey @grok, are U.S. weapons stockpiles running low because the war in Iran or because the war in Ukraine? Also describe the difference between the types of weapons the U.S. has provided to Ukraine vs the weapons the U.S. has expended in Iran

Desperate men do very desperate things.
The next few weeks the world will witness Donald Trump in all of his horror.
Putin literally kills his political challengers.
Trump is lying again. Putin started the war and has repeatedly refused to negotiate to end it. The US spent nothing like $350 billion. Half the money is not missing. Washington and Moscow are both significantly more corrupt than Kyiv. Putin, not Zelensky, is a dictator who openly steals elections.
