Most of you perp props will be in prison if the fallout starts to happen, and it will soon. Especially the non KYC ones.
Happily moved on with the prop world.
Thanks.
I'm moving away from the prop world indefinitely.
I've been pretty much obsessed with this industry for years.
I've spent 15–16 hour days sitting in front of a laptop building, analysing, testing and rebuilding.
I've now completed the work and commitments I set out to do with the firms I've worked with recently, and I'm genuinely happy with the results.
I think I've got to the point where there are more important things in life than spending every waking hour doing this.
I've purged the account, but I'll leave the articles here for anyone who still wants to read them.
One last thing: The Playground.
A huge amount of what I've learned and built over the years distilled into one product. Systems I haven't shared with any firm, built into an interactive environment, including my newest modelling engine for Futures and CFDs.
I'm open to placing it with one firm only, particularly a firm that can actually implement some or all of it.
If you're genuinely interested, DM me.
Time for something else.

I see a lot of this reasoning on why Vest is so trusted and has 0 chance of going down, however that is very far from the truth.
Here is what Vest's backing actually means:
Jane Street wrote a small seed check. Vest's March 2025 seed was $5M total, split among five named investors including Jane Street. Whatever Jane Street put in is a fraction of that, and tiny for a firm that made a record $39.6B in trading revenue in 2025. It's an early bet on a startup, not a promise to stand behind the product.
Coinbase Ventures is not Coinbase. It's a venture arm that has made 600+ investments across 420+ companies, typically at $500K to $10M a check. The seed announcement doesn't even name Coinbase. Being on a cap table doesn't mean anyone will backstop your funds.
FTX had 60+ investors, including Sequoia, SoftBank, Paradigm, Thoma Bravo and Coinbase Ventures, and went to zero. Terra was also backed by Coinbase Ventures. Investors hold equity, not your deposits, and they get fooled or lose money all the time.
What they funded isn't what you may be using. The seed was for a risk engine and a perp exchange, not a prop firm. Vest was a dying DeFi exchange before the prop program, which came later and is issued by a Panama corporation (Vest Exchange Inc.).
The seed was for a risk engine and a perp exchange, not a prop firm. That exchange was already dying before the prop program:
TVL fell from a high of about $31M in October 2025 to roughly $188K now, a drop of over 99%, and last month's web traffic was little to none.
My assessment is that this prop push was a last-ditch effort to save a dying product. They claim all these trades are A-book, which could not possibly be true and of course it isn't verifiable since its all on their own exchange.
Gonna be hard to rug the firm when you’re literally backed by @coinbase and @JaneStreetGroup
@VestExchange
Whether it's Prime in CFDs or Offboarding in Futures, when you move traders to live or onboard them into a programme to stop them from bleeding your cash flow, there are ways to provide incentives that are outside your typical monetary value which can actually be net positive to the trader.
Alternatively, you can keep them in Sim, but make sure both parties are in a symbiotic relationship not in a parasitic one, both parties can thrive without neither getting absolutely railed.

This is unique one.

🚨Breaking: Prop firm @Alpha_Futures_ sues @Tradovate and @NinjaTrader in US District Court
Alpha's complaint alleges Tradovate promised 90 days notice and an "orderly transition," then cut off all trading and platform access over a single weekend, took Alpha's client list, and used it to move those traders to competitors.
Complaint, N.D. Illinois, filed July 24.

Sadly I cannot mention every single name as the list would be gazillion pages long.
