Not even a MIA fan but Jimmy Butler is one of the best players I’ve ever seen. He’s so under-appreciated because he doesn’t put up crazy stats in the regular season like all these other guys. But there are very, very few guys in history that can do what he can in the postseason.
Lamar Jackson would be best off hiring a legit NFLPA certified agent. But this is misleading. It’s not like he’s handling negotiations on his own. He has an entire team of consultants, lawyers, business reps, etc. who are working with him. It’s not like he’s going in blind.

The importance of getting yourself a good agent & surrounding yourself with a honest team of professionals cannot be overstated. It does not appear that he had either of those. With the right guidance, he could have easily avoided this.

Just finished reading “Can’t Hurt Me” by @davidgoggins & can honestly say it’s one of the best books I’ve read. Great message about mental toughness and pushing yourself to achieve greatness. Great read for both athletes, & anyone looking to better themselves!
I remember sitting in an Econ. class in college a few years ago discussing with the professor about the national debt reaching the 19 Trillion mark. It’s unbelievable how far we have come since then, & it doesn’t appear we are going to slow down anytime soon. Crazy stuff.
