Oh man, to me there is nothing better than a Friday night at a local football game listening to the marching band in their seats playing their hearts out.

Thank you @MTHawkFootball1 for letting me speak with the Manchester Hawks football team tonight. Very fitting that it was on the practice field I first learned the game 27+ years ago. Best of luck this season. -Coach Patterson

Almost nothing in sports feels worse than being a part of a talented team that underachieves because of leadership/chemistry issues. Don’t let this happen to your team. Be a great teammate and leader!

If you want to be great, you better have a chip on your shoulder that motivates you to compete like a maniac every play b/c the great ones are always driven. They give the same effort first play as they do the last, 1st down or 4th down, ball to their side or away. #drivenDNA

PLAYERS: You don't need to be a rah-rah type to be a verbal leader. In fact, every single athlete can be a verbal leader. Every athlete is capable of ... 1️⃣ Informing 2️⃣ Encouraging 3️⃣ Reminding Great teams have great teammates. Great teammates lead by example and verbally.
