Truly a man in every sense of the word. Believed in faith and discipline and accountability. There was no doubt that if you were a starter or a backup, everyone had a role and your role mattered. Most importantly as a player you knew coach Johnston loved you and genuinely cared.
What kind of world would it be if we all stopped caring of what others think and just started caring about others?!? #bethelight

Expectations? Those come from others.
But standards? Those come from within.
When you live by your own standards, you’re not competing with anyone else; you’re competing with your best self, every single day.
I like it big man!

Bill Walsh said, "The culture precedes positive results...Champions behave like champions before they’re champions; they have a winning standard of performance."
Success takes time, patience, and fortitude.
Your culture doesn't change overnight.
It changes when you establish a standard of performance and commit to that standard.
Your culture lays the foundation for the organization and the team.
It's in the details, actions, and attitudes that you start to change the culture. It lays the groundwork and foundation for your success to come.
