📊 Our article in @NatureRevEarthEnv on climate change impacts on crop yields, published in November 2023, is now ⭐ highly cited! 🌍 zalf.de/en/aktuelles/Pages/F…

ALT Climate change affects crop yields differently depending on the crop and region. In a review article, researchers, including those from ZALF, analysed experimental and model-based studies and investigated the influence of higher temperatures, changes in water availability and increased CO2 levels on the yields of the crops wheat, maize, millet and rice. It is clear that both the influences and the effects depend strongly on the type of cereal, the region and the cultivation method. | The picture can be used for editorial purposes by stating the source: © Joseph Fulgham / Pixabay
