Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year, Spartans!

Winter break is here, and though the MSU Union is a bit quieter, our hearts are full of warmth and nostalgia as we think of each and every one of you. 💚❄️ We can't wait to welcome you back to campus!

We have Excavation Week T-shirts left over from our event last week. Stop by the MSU Union Welcome Desk and ask for a shirt while they last!

Thanks everyone for your concern (and speedy evacuation)! No fire here, just a steam discharge from our cooling tower combined with an amber colored light up on the roof. Many thanks to our first responders for the swift assistance.

Don't forget @strangematterco is here! Hours are Monday-Saturday: 7 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday: 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

We can't wait to show you a little thing we worked on for Fall Welcome! The semester is right around the corner. What are you most excited about for Fall Welcome 2023? Info on events and more coming soon!

We appreciate the support we received last week at the Union; that includes the warm, furry snuggles and cold, wet nose kisses from our four-legged friend, Peanut, who acted as an onsite therapy dog, welcoming people back into the space.

Important things to note as the Union re-opens, today.

The Union will re-open April 3 at 8 a.m.

For the first time since 2020, The Alumni Chapel is now open to the public, Tues. through Fri. from 8A-11A, for the remainder of the semester as a resource for continued reflection and healing. A sanctuary for all, it is best known for its stunning stained-glass windows.

Due to the tragedy of Feb. 13th, the MSU Union will remain closed for the time being as we work diligently to reopen the building in its proper form and at the appropriate time. We greatly appreciate your support during this difficult time.

The Alumni Memorial Chapel will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the week of February 20th for our students and our campus community as a place of solace.

What's worse- the rain or snow? Good thing we have the heat on and a roof! Escape the elements and come study on one of our four floors!
