Please pray for the people of #SouthSudan as @Pontifex, @churchmoderator and I prepare to make our historic Pilgrimage of Peace on Friday.
We come as brothers in Christ to amplify the cries of the South Sudanese people and to pray for justice and peace.

I know there is a very solemn and impressive school of intellectuals who appear to have no intellects. They merely like floating about in an atmosphere of intellectualism. They worship the intellect like an idol; and all the more because it is to them an unknown god.

This disturbing and disgusting ideology is the logical conclusion of the pro-choice position. Protect our brothers and sisters with disabilities. Fight for the right to life

Today is the Feast of St James the Apostle, who walked with Christ from the start of his mission and gave his life for his faith. He is the patron saint of pilgrims. We pray for all pilgrims and we think of how we are called to walk a journey of faith. Buen Camino! #mscvocations

(1/7) As a human being who believes in the sanctity of human life, I am deeply troubled by what is happening to the Uighur Muslim population in China.
Today is the feast day of of one of my favourite saints, Camillus de Lellis gambler and soldier of fortune, who discovered God’s call for his life in caring for the sick and the poor. He is the patron of nurses, doctors, and those addicted to gambling. A real saint for our time
