Well done to both sets of players 👏👏👏

⚪️🔵⚪️ Weekend Rewind A very much depleted MSB Woolton LPL side put in a quality performance against FC Community at Simpsons, in LPool Premier League….. running out 5-3 winners Credit to the lads for digging deep to get the vital 3 points , with goals coming from Kieran (2), Omar, Luca and Harry 👏👏 MSB LPL Res lost to a last minute goal against Long Lane in the Championship… 2-1 Lads showing great character and massive progress as they find their feet in that division after promotion MSB LFL side lost 3-0 away at a strong Mersey Harps in LPool Football League, with a depleted side…. A good 1st half performance is something to build from going forward Hard work continues….

⚪️🔵⚪️ Weekend Rewind Woolton travelled to Maine Rd on Saturday and put a great shift in on a very heavy pitch in NWC 1st Division North An even first half, with half chances either end was followed by us taking the lead midway through the second through a Danny V pen, after Joe T was brought down 2 other chances went begging before a controversial ending in injury time with the Maine Rd fullback letting rip from 20 yards for an equaliser, after a foul on Sancho wasn’t given in the build up… The @lakervent MOM was Jay Liddle who put in a great performance at the back 👏👏 Maine Rd 1-1 Woolton Quick turnaround as we travel to Holker on Tuesday night in a rearranged league game #upthewoo
