I hate these posts, but since I do have some X-clusive followers here (har har), I'm posting to pin this on my profile: I'm not planning on being active here anymore. If you want to see my work, you can find me on IG, FB, or Vero... or sign up for my newsletter (linked in bio).
Burdened with Beauty (Texas, 2022) - Another one from an amazing morning full of amazing fall colors just 20 minutes from my house. If only Texas falls were always so spectacular!
@elonmusk why are image uploads being butchered in quality the last 24-48 hours? Same file, totally different result in the original post vs the one I added in the comments. Cut down from 3000 x 2000 to 1200 x 800 pixels. Looks awful when expanded.
Well, quality was butchered again upon upload. In theory, it will be correct in this comment share...
The Flow of Earth & Sky (Grand Teton NP, 2018) - This one sat forgotten in my archives until a few months ago when I went hunting for hidden gold (read more: michaelrungphotography.com/p…)
So, the image quality on The Platform Formerly Known as Twitter is complete trash today. I'm seeing it universally across all accounts: expanded images posted today look awful. New cost cutting feature, or another bug? Less than half the resolution of what I actually uploaded.
Desert Detritus (southern Utah, 2022) - As I sat around waiting for the light on a (failed) composition I had scouted on a prior visit, I looked down and found this small, curved nook full of little goodies in the rock next to me.
Stormy Greetings (Grand Teton NP, 2018) - Greeted by phenomenal wildflowers and intermittent rain... little did we know the rain was serving to hold off the assault of biting flies and mosquitoes we had to fight in the evening!
Great new collection. "After the Moment"... yowza!

Transcendent Glow (Utah, 2022) - A print of this one recently went off to its new home in Canada, along with one of Morning Stretch. How important is light? Take a look at the phone snap I took this year: same location but later in the day, with a completely different appearance.
Avendesora (Texas, 2022) - With the buzz for Wheel of Time season 2 ramping up (please be better than S1), it seems a good time to share this photo I made last fall in my local park. If you know, you know!

Subdued (Texas, 2022) - It's always a special treat when we get a rare foggy morning here in north Texas. I was fortunate enough to get out to my local park when we had such a morning back in October, just as the leaves were starting to turn.

The Great Hunt begins September 1, but your hunt begins now. Watch the Official Trailer for #TheWheelOfTime season 2, and see what you can find…
Blue Sky Above (Utah, 2022) - After slipping and sliding my way through the shaded canyon, the space opened up and I found this patterned patch of ice glowing in the morning sun.
