We challenged our singers to have some sponsored singing fun this last week, all to raise funds for our bursary fund, so no child is excluded from the amazing opportunities that singing with us offers. Can you help us get to the finish line? donate.biggive.org/campaign/…

Collab. between @RCMLondon Junior Department and @MReadFoundation culminated in a great concert with RCMJD chamber groups + brilliant percussionist/composer Cameron Sinclair. MRF patron Dame Judith Weir shared the day, and enhanced the young composers' experience.

Over the last few days we've been emailing choirs up and down this great land, asking for their support to take our singers to represent the UK at the World Choir Games. A few of those singers wanted to tell you directly why they want to go. gofund.me/62aae668

Mark of a quality composition is how much of it is stuck in your brain the day after you've performed it. Been whistling all day. #ColonelBoles @MReadFoundation @Commotio_choir

Such varied compositions and styles. Loved Felix's inclusion of microtones. Some very talented young composers involved!

Soundchecks for the 4 award holders’ commissioned pieces for solo cello have begun 🎻 providing tuition and a performance opportunity to young composers is of course the core of MRF’s mission, we can’t wait to hear them tonight alongside the alumni pieces and Martin’s cantata
