Europe has a huge chance right now. Remove bureaucracy by a lot, bring energy prices down (by removing most taxes, allowing batteries and renewables) and Europe could thrive. Make programms to welcome the brightest minds from America and we'll catch up quickly. @_FriedrichMerz

@alex_avoigt : Darum braucht man dich

"Beware the student of one teacher. A good idea spirals into dogma when it gets applied to everything and stretched beyond the areas where it is useful. Remain open and embrace a lot of teachers." (James Clear) Maybe Government is not running a business @elonmusk

Today my view on @elonmusk and @tesla as an investment changed fundamentaly. It's become way riskier now, because of Elons uninformed an not nuanced comments about politics. @tesla will have an even harder time in Germany now and FSD and Optimus won't come to Europe for long time

Elon endorsing the AFD that clearly, sheds a bad light on @TeslaGermany_ and makes the company not trustworthy in the eyes of the public and politicians. If AFD wins the election, tesla won't have a business case in Germany anyways.

Great summary from @alex_avoigt @robyndenholm @kimbal @herbertong @TeslaBoomerMama @tesla @davelee @farzyness @HansCNelson @CathieDWood @elonmusk should be more careful what he says. I assume he is no nazi and doesn't want to hurt people. But that's what all of Germany thinks
The perpetrator of the attack in Magdeburg, 🇩🇪 Germany which left 2 dead and 60 injured, shared posts on X from right-wing ideological accounts, including those of AfD leader Alice Weidel and the new-right influencer Naomi Seibt as well as Elon Musk. The latter has also attracted attention for some time with politically far-right statements and rants against US migration policy and latest with support of the AfD party that is considered a supporter by Russia and the German authorities have categorised the AfD as "proven right-wing extremist" and anti-constitutional. The current indications therefore point to a radical right-wing background. The man appears on X as an ex-Muslim critic of Islam. On Friday evening, he posted several videos there in which he says in English: "I blame the German nation for the killing of Socrates." And: "Another reason why I blame the German citizens for the persecution I experience in Germany is the story of a stolen USB stick from my mailbox." He later says in the video: "The government are criminals instead of protecting me. The police are the criminals. In this case, I blame the German nation and the German citizens." Right-wing ideology is radicalizing people and a threat to our democracy and citizens - it kills people.

It seems that everything Elon stood for when building Tesla and in relation to climate change suddenly no longer plays any role for him because the AfD supports the oil & gas industry, is against BEVs and the party wants to shut 🇩🇪 Giga Berlin down. He supports now not only with Trump but with parties like the AfD an oil & gas lobby. Lastly his statement makes it less likely than Tesla will get support to launch FSD in 🇪🇺 Europe or to get political support for any endeavor from local Governments, politicians or citizens. Elon's active interference in politics and support for radical right-wing parties is the biggest mistake he has made.
