“Duk Wanda Yace Bola Tinubu Baya Aiki Yazo Kafin Ciri Dam Yaga Yanda ake Aiki…” Nura Garko a farmer from Garko, Kano State.
The rehabilitation of Kafin Chiri Dam in Kano under President @officialABAT Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration promises stronger irrigation, more dry-season farming and better opportunities for year-round food production. Reliable water also supports livestock. With pasture and veterinary services alongside it, we can reduce the need for herders to travel long distances in search of water and grazing.

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, has reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of President @officialABAT to implementing high-impact policies and programmes designed to uplift women in every sector of society.
He said the administration is shattering barriers to unleash an unstoppable wave of women’s empowerment across Nigeria, a decision he said is premised on the conviction that women are the backbone of every nation and the livewire of economic activities in every society.
The Vice President stated this on Monday when he received in audience the Nigerian Women for Tinubu/Shettima 2027 (NWFTAS 2027), an All Progressives Congress (@OfficialAPCNg) women’s support group for the re-election of President @officialABAT and his deputy, led by its Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), High Chief (Dr.) Bisola Sodipo Edwin Clark, and National Coordinator/Convener, CSI Elsie Morgan Mangai (Rtd).
He commended the group for its orderly disposition and structured national profile, assuring the women of the administration’s continuous support for its activities and programmes.

"What has been going round on social media that we have abandoned the alignment of the 750km coastal highway of the Lagos - Calabar in favor of the alignment of East - West road is highly mischievous info. The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is progressing, with some sections recording over 40% completion.
“Section Two which is 55km is expected to be ready by mid-November. The FG is also seeking approval to integrate 400km of the East-West Road, boosting connectivity and economic opportunities across the Niger Delta”

Almost every sector has seen massive growth under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with his records beating most of his predecessors.
Growth in coal, crude, cement, finance and entertainment is creating jobs and opening doors for everyday Nigerians.
Nigeria’s revenue no longer depends on oil alone, it now comes from a range of sectors, several of which are showing clear growth.
Is there more to do? Yes. Are we moving? Also yes.

The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, has issued a rallying cry to the North for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's reelection in the 2027 presidential election, declaring that the region has absolutely nothing to fear from a second term for the President.
With urgent intensity, he implored northern leaders and citizens to unite behind the President's re-election bid, framing the administration's second-term agenda as a secure, bulletproof guarantee for the region's future prosperity and stability.
Senator Shettima made the call on Monday when he received on a courtesy visit, a delegation from the Arewa for Tinubu (A4A) - a northern-based think tank -:working for the reelection of President Tinubu.
He called on leaders across the region to unite into a single front and work for the progress of the area and the wellbeing of its people, which are top priorities for the Tinubu administration.
According to the VP, the North has no reason to be scared of the re-election of President Tinubu, as it has benefitted immensely in terms of appointments and game-changing projects and programmes.
His words: "Let's unite as a people and work for the development of our region and the progress of our people through the re-election of this administration. We are benefiting and we stand to benefit more from this government in many ways.
"The Bank of Agriculture has disbursed N450 billion to 700,000 smallholder farmers in Nigeria and about 70 percent of the beneficiaries are from the north.
"The present administration is working towards completing landmark and ground breaking projects in parts of the country. I can assure you that the president loves the north and the president will work for the north."
The Vice President thanked the group for their steadfast support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at all times and appealed to them to work harder and galvanize across wards, communities and local governments in the northern region for the President's re-election.
Earlier, the Director General of the Arewa for Asiwaju and former Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru, said the organisation will not rest on its oars untill they make the North proud by reelecting President Tinubu.
"We are also supporting the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) with whatever they want us to do that is micro in nature because they are so big and we really don't want to lose sight of the bigger arrangement that is there. We want to focus very well on the contacts at the grassroots - the local government areas and the wards."
Also, Chairman of the organisation's Board of Trustees (BoT) and former Kano State Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau, said the think tank which worked for President Tinubu's election in the 2023 general election will repeat the same feat in 2027.
He said the organisation had been meeting with northern governors and other stakeholders to compare notes and collaborate on areas of working together to achieve the President's reelection.
He noted that the organisation has concluded plan to have a full-fledged secretariat for purposes of coordination, where there will be offices for directors and state coordinators will compare reports, analyse them, and give out instructions to its members.
The BoT Chairman formally invited the Vice President to officially commission the A4A office complex on Saturday, October 17, 2027.
Also present at the meetig were former Governors of Plateau, Chief Joshua Dariye and Senator Simon Lalong; Taraba, Rev. Jolly Nyame; Kogi, Alhaji Yahaya Bello; Katsina, Barr. Ibrahim Shehu Shema; Bauchi, Mallam Isa Yuguda; Special Adviser to The President on Policy ad Coordination, Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman; Chairman of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd), some top officials of government, and other members of the A4A BOT and Secretariat.

The programme is also projected to save Nigeria $2.1 billion in foreign exchange each year, while supporting ethanol production, power generation and job creation.

Troops of Sector 4, Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), have successfully repelled a coordinated attack by Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists on Forward Operating Base (FOB) Garaha in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, neutralising six terrorists and recovering a substantial cache of arms, ammunition and other combat equipment.
The terrorists, who advanced on foot from the LAR axis, launched the attack at approximately 9:07 pm in an attempt to overrun the military position. However, troops responded with superior firepower and tactical coordination, decisively repelling the assault and forcing the terrorists to retreat.
Subsequent exploitation of the area led to the discovery of six terrorist corpses, confirming the neutralisation of six insurgents. Troops also recovered one PKT machine gun with three ammunition belts containing 67 rounds, six AK-47 rifles, 11 AK-47 magazines, 157 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition, 120 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and one 60mm mortar bomb.
Other items recovered include one Infinix Android phone, one Canon portable video recorder, three camelback water bags, one magazine carrier and assorted clothing.
Although troops sustained casualties during the encounter, wounded personnel are receiving medical attention, while necessary evacuation arrangements are ongoing. Troops have maintained heightened vigilance and sustained exploitation of the surrounding area to prevent further attacks and recover additional items of operational significance.
The successful repulsion of the attack underscores the combat readiness, resilience and determination of Operation HADIN KAI troops to defend their positions, frustrate terrorist offensives and progressively degrade insurgent capabilities across the North East.
The Theatre Command remains resolute in sustaining aggressive, intelligence-driven operations to deny terrorists freedom of action, protect vulnerable communities and consolidate ongoing efforts to restore lasting peace and security across the region.

PRESS STATEMENT
ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL
APC CAMPAIGN SPOKESPERSONS WILL NOT TRAVEL ATIKU'S ROUTE OF DISRESPECTING PROTOCOL
We have followed the furore and public reactions to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar's self-imposed indiscretion and disrespect for the office of the President of Nigeria and Commander-in-Chief, the Presidential candidate of the ADC.
While a higher standard of decorum, decency and deference to constituted authorities is expected from a former Vice President of Nigeria and an aspirant to the highest office in the country, we are concerned that the ADC Presidential candidate has not lived up to those expectations by his unbecoming decision to address the President of Nigeria on a first-name basis as 'Bola'.
Since Alhaji Atiku lost the last Presidential election, he has allowed political animosity and uncontrollable ambition to rob him of the statesmanship that should guide his public conduct and utterances.
Alhaji Atiku, for reasons best known to him alone, chose, rather than being a good example of decency in political behaviour, to set himself up as a model of politician the younger generation of political actors should never aspire to be like.
Without any regard to his personal choice to disrespect the office he is aspiring to occupy, the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council has implored all party leaders, spokespersons, party members and support groups to accord all the respect, courtesies and regard due to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as former Vice President of Nigeria and a Presidential candidate.
As a party grounded in progressive ideals and African traditional values of respect, our campaign council will not follow Alhaji Atiku's path.
Our campaign will focus on issues important to Nigerians. We will sell our party programmes, President Bola Tinubu's achievements in office, and how the administration is moving Nigeria from reforms to prosperity as the President seeks a second-term mandate from Nigerians.
