Such a good feeling to have that optimism and excitement to go and watch Town again. I’m confident, albeit with a real err of cautiousness, ahead of tonight. If we turn up, we have too much for any team in this division, but we must start converting chances into goals. #htafc

Easy to say on the back of that performance/victory, but Drury’s got this Town team playing. Admittedly, we’ve dropped points we shouldn’t have, but it’s a good watch. Front footed and creating ample chances. It’s been a long time coming and it’s a breath of fresh air! #htafc

Seething after that. I accept in large parts it was self-inflicted as we allowed them to play and back into the game, but I have never ever seen a referee change his decision like that today. Right or wrong decision, it’s absolutely despicable. #htafc

Personally think Duff’s appointment at Bradford is a good one and they’ll continue their strong form under his tenure. Must admit, the thought of losing to Michael Duff’s Bradford City on the 31st is a concern. Both he and they will be bang up for it.

Good result and good performance on the whole. Still want us to be more clinical as that should’ve been wrapped up by half-time. Most teams won’t be as generous as Burton, who gift-wrapped a couple for us. Regardless, three goals and points. Onwards and upwards! #htafc

Oh bollocks. Can some other random nation call someone up and we get that Burton game postponed please? #htafc
We have received two call-ups for the upcoming international break! 🐉 First Wales call-up for Joe Taylor ⭐️ Radinio Balker included in Suriname squad Good luck, lads💙 🔗htafc.com/news/2026/septembe… #htafc

After what was a positive start to the season, taking 10 points from a possible 12 available, Town have since taken just 2 from 9 against Notts County, Mansfield and Bromley. In no world is that an acceptable return. #htafc

I hate to be that person, and I’m not being disrespectful to Bromley, nor arrogant as a Town fan, but if you have genuine aspirations of getting out of League One then you simply cannot turn in a performance like that and leave Bromley empty-handed. Embarrassing. #htafc

Seen enough of Tovide already to know he’s fucking hopeless. 🚮 #htafc

To be frank, I couldn’t give a toss what Dale Vince’s position is on Palestine. You’re a football club. Focus on playing football. Park your opinions on politics and park your opinions on what you think people should/shouldn’t eat while you’re at it. 🚮

From the outside looking in, this looks like an absolutely horrific decision. Came in and turned the club around last season. From relegation certainties, to play-off challengers. Given the full summer and sacked after 5 games. Slow start yes, but that’s all it looks like?
Wycombe Wanderers have parted company with Head Coach Michael Duff and First-Team Coach Alex Morris. The club has made the decision in light of a disappointing run of results since the spring and believes the time is right to take a new direction. Everyone at the club would like to thank Michael and Alex for their hard work and contributions to Wycombe Wanderers and wish them every success for the future. The appointment of an interim Head Coach will follow later today.

Thought we were well below-par this afternoon. Everything looked that little bit more laboured and disjointed. Credit to Notts County who were well-drilled and got the point they came for. But, in perspective, 11/15pts to start the season is a positive start. #htafc

Just the one change from Tuesday night for me; Humphreys in for Collins, otherwise as you were. That said, I suspect we’ll be unchanged and we’ll see Humphreys for Collins some time beyond the hour mark. A win today, and 13/15pts to start the season, would be superb. #htafc

Looking forward to this afternoon. Have a feeling of very cautions optimism. Town in a really good place lately, but ‘one of those afternoons’ is always just around the corner. However, if we turn up as we’ve done to this point, we’ll have too much for Notts. 2-1 Town. #htafc

There’s a difference between dominating the game and dominating the ball. Yes, you had plenty of the ball but that doesn’t equate to chances created, shots on goal or points. Believe us, we’ve had Lee Grant. We know. I’d suggest this image tells the real story. #htafc

Thoroughly enjoyable evening down the Accu. Oxford very tidy in possession and controlled large parts, but Town always carried a threat coming forward. Game management at the end so pleasing. Early days but lots to like about this Town team. #htafc

No complaints with that half. Very nip and tuck. Oxford comfortable in possession and very quick when the gaps open up, albeit they’ve created very little to this point. Town fine, far from spectacular. Fair at this point. #htafc

Penalty? Nope. But we had a “goal” not given last week and a far more convincing penalty appeal than this one turned away. Drew last week when we should’ve won, won today when we should’ve drawn. All square. #htafc
Replying to @CambridgeUtdFC
That has to be one of the worst refereeing decisions I’ve seen given live.

Deserved more last week, probably didn’t deserve it today. Quickly evened out. Onto the next. #htafc
