Check out our new paper led by @Zhijie_D where we present a new version of the FASTER probe clip-on device that enables high volume-rate, multimodal 3D ultrasound imaging with regular 1D ultrasound probes (B-mode, Doppler, and super-resolution imaging).

Check out our super-resolution ultrasound brain imaging preprint on mice with Alzheimer's disease. We found that the early stage of the disease presented with decreased blood flow velocity in vulnerable brain regions. @LlanoLaboratory @BeckmanInst – at Champaign, IL

In this preprint we introduce CS Doppler, a deep generative neural network-based technique that super-resolves microvessels without using contrast microbubbles. This work was lead by @QiYou2 and in collaboration with @AnastasioLab and @LlanoLaboratory.

We're thrilled to receive a @NIBIBgov R01 grant to develop a novel probe clip-on device that instantly converts 2D ultrasound to 3D, with ultrafast imaging capabilities. Thanks to our collaborators' (@ShigaoChen and Jun Zou) help, this application was ranked at 2 percentile!

Many scientists consider the complex relationship between Alzheimer's disease and the brain's vascular system to be a "chicken and egg" problem.🧠
With new ultrasound imaging tools, #ILLINOIS researchers are making "quantum leaps" toward understanding it▶️bit.ly/3AyKdkP

In this paper we demonstrate the robustness of deep learning-based microbubble (MB) localization for super-resolution imaging, especially under high MB concentrations. Our results also indicate the need of temporal MB information for further improvement.

Check out our latest paper by @QiYou2 in @IEEE_TMI! We developed a curvelet-based sparsity-promoting method to accelerate super-resolution imaging. Our method uses 80% less data, providing a robust solution for shortening super-res data acquisition. doi.org/10.1109/TMI.2022.316…
