You know what's more expensive than $4 a gallon gas? -Paying student loans I never took out -Paying for free food for someone that shouldn't even be here -Paying healthcare for people that jumped the border -Paying for infrastructure in a country I've never been to -Paying for military protection for people that hate us THAT is costing me a Hell of a lot more than $4 gas!!!

Liar.
"Knocked Out" is the debut single by American singer and dancer Paula Abdul, released in May 1988 via Virgin Records as the lead single to Abdul's debut studio album Forever Your Girl (1988). Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed[a] (born October 31, 1984) is an American epidemiologist and politician who is the Democratic nominee in the 2026 United States Senate election in Michigan. Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus. The guy is a stone-cold liar. Will say anything to get elected.

Courage.
The mouth that trembles builds nothing. the mouth that commands splits water. moses did not ask, moses said. the sea obeyed. the sea always obeys the tongue that does not flinch. the cautious die in the desert, the certain cross. god did not bargain with darkness, god said let there be. nothing asked permission to disagree, the world simply complied. your world also complies, you just keep whispering apologies into the void and wondering why nothing is born through you. every prophet was killed for the same reason, his mouth worked, and that is how you knew it was real. stop trying to sound holy, start sounding like you mean it. God has not abandoned you, you abandoned your own throat

Elon.
The left isn't angry with Elon Musk's amazing demonstration of the flying car. They're jealous because they've never invented anything besides blue hair dye.
Oh Yea.
Replying to @SenWarren
My grandfather built McCormick Spices from nothing after your ancestors tomahawked his wife and kids. I'll be damned if you take another scalp from my family fortune!

In my home state of Louisiana, almost 68% of workers can benefit from No Tax on Overtime, and 700,000 senior citizens can benefit from No Tax on Social Security. Republicans delivered this and so much more in our Working Families Tax Cuts. But EVERY single Democrat in Congress voted AGAINST this.
Costs. Inflation.
Marc Andreessen reveals why housing, health care, and education keep getting more expensive while everything else gets cheaper "There's basically three components to the American dream. A house near great job opportunities, great health care for you and your family, and sending your kids to good schools" "If you disaggregate the economy over the last 25 years, everything that technology touches basically collapses in price. Television sets, computer games, anything with electronics in it. But if you chart housing, education, and health care, the prices of those things are skyrocketing" "The government restricts supply, zoning laws and university certifications. And then the government responds to the political pressure caused by the rising prices by subsidizing demand. And of course, if you subsidize demand and a fixed supply, you get skyrocketing prices"

Investing.
Running the top performer for TWO YEARS instead will give over 3.2x more and save on taxes Just buying the top stock and hold for 24 months, ignore whatever stock the next year is Starting Balance: $100 Ending balance: $570,407 Added benefit is it qualifies for long term capital gains, but it was already higher than the 12-month performance I added the top long term capital gains tax (so if you have a lower tax bracket, it will be more)

Want to know what radicalized me? We have two political parties. One thinks sentences like: “The Somali gang member who shot two people outside a high school football game in suburban Minneapolis has been released on bail” are perfectly reasonable. The other doesn’t. One party wants to open our borders to millions more people from economically disadvantaged, culturally misaligned countries like Somalia. The other doesn’t. One party’s 2024 presidential candidate supports ending cash bail. She even sponsored legislation to get rid of it nationwide. To quote her: “End money bail. Our bail system is unjust and broken.” The other doesn’t. One party’s most prominent member of Congress advocates for abolishing prisons (looking your way, AOC!). “I want to abolish our carceral system that’s designed to trap Black and Brown men.” The other doesn’t. We all have to choose. Politics is now a zero-sum, winner-take-all game. That wasn’t always the case, and I wish it weren’t the case now, but it is. I didn’t make the rules. So I’ve chosen. Like it or not, you’re going to have to choose too.

Clarence Thomas.
Most men need a lifetime for their defining moment and many never have one. 35 years ago today, Clarence Thomas needed 3 minutes. I’ve watched this 1000 times and every time still feels like the first. The dishonesty, the media, and the early machinery of lawfare. He saw it all.

Hmmmm.
Good morning, @JamesTalarico! Would YOU like to reveal where you *actually* were these past couple weeks, or should me and @RheinAmacher do it? Please let us know by 1pm ET today! Thank you for your attention to this matter! 🇺🇸

Pride. Laughter.
The best insight on “pride” I’ve read for a long time. And the significance of “light, lightness and laughter.” Sent by my friend “Presterton” (a modern day Chesterton, whose quote is at the top).

Left.
I saw Charlie Kirk murdered on camera I saw Iryna Zarutska murdered on camera Televised deaths are not new The only difference is that this time the person dying actually deserves it

2 Point ?
I’ve seen enough people ask that I’ll break down the math. Brandon Aubrey XP%: 97% NFL average 2Pt rate: 48% Key assumptions: You score twice and get stops. OT win probability is 50% If you kick the XP twice, you have a 95% chance of sending game to OT, 50% chance of winning in OT. 47.5% chance at winning the game. If you go for two: Get first, kick XP on second and win in regulation: 46.6% of time, win 100% Get first, miss XP and go to OT: 1.4% of time, win 50% Miss first, get second and go to OT: 24.9% of time, win 50% of time Miss first and second 2-Point: 27.6% of time, guaranteed loss By going for two, your win probability jumps to 59.8% chance. So if you guarantee me we get two scores and two stops, you’ll win ~47% of the time kicking extra points, and ~60% of the time going for two. The reason it doesn’t jive with coaches/fans is because delaying a loss feels psychologically advantageous… but losing in OT vs losing in regulation is the same result
