It’s a great day to hire a Bobcat! Hats off to Ray Rodgers and his staff pulling off our Internship Connections day @txst. Over 30 faculty from every college on campus doing their best to connect students to the experiences that make a career. #StudentSuccess
Had a great day working with faculty and learning from them how we can empower #StudentSuccess through faculty engagement. It takes a village and we are coming together to get our @txst students to the finish line!
It's a great day to HIRE a Bobcat! Especially if you are a first-generation Bobcat! Proud of the work our team did on securing a career readiness grant from the Moody Foundation. Thanks to the Moody Foundation for their generous gift. news.txst.edu/inside-txst/20…

Proud to say Texas State for #CollegeColorsDay 2024. You’ll find me tomorrow UFCU Stadium cheering on our Bobcats! I can see the stadium from my office window! Eat ‘Em’ Up Cats! @txst

Students are looking for more efficient and clear pathways to graduation. Here at @txst, we are providing those to students through the introduction of NavigateTXST and other services. insidehighered.com/news/stud…
Weather looking good for #TXST this weekend. Cannot wait for my first Bobcat Game Day!
I will be the first to admit I have often disagreed with @HenmackIII on policy issues, but here is where we find unity. The more we can diversify degree programs and create balance, the more well-rounded our graduates will be. Liberal arts create resilient workers!
Not only does a liberal arts education afford learners an understanding of all choices available to them, enabling them to live life as informed agents of reason & citizens of a free society, it also exposes students to the conditions of a free society; it is necessary to achieve higher education’s larger purpose: to actualize the Common Good.
Some salient reminders from @McCormickProf as we start the new academic year. ⬇️
