If the NC House flips, it will be because of six years of deep investment in voter outreach, an unprecedented coalition of grassroots groups, long term planning and fundraising and @abreezeclayton.
This is not a fluke, this is what deep commitment looks like.

Nursing home CEO Paul Walczak pocketed the taxes from his workers' paychecks and blew it on a $2M yacht, travel & Cartier.
He got 18 months in prison. Then his mom went to a $1M-a-plate Trump dinner. 3 weeks later: FULL pardon. This is the most corrupt White House in US history.

Mind-numbingly stupid for the Globe parrot the claim that jungle primaries will address the problem of the number of uncontested elections.
An election is only contested if a second candidate runs. Increasing the cost of the election deters candidate #2.
Poor decisions were made this morning. This is what happens when you eat the cat food. The cat eats the dog food and Rio has regrets.
Hey, it's a day that ends in Y! Must be a good day to urge you to vote NO on Question 3.
Early voting starts tomorrow in MA. And I'm putting it out there - the Globe may have endorsed Yes on 3, but they also endorsed Seth Moulton in the primary. So No on 3.
MA Voters, there are a LOT of ballot questions this year.
Vote No on Ballot Question 3.

Starting Oct 19, the Trump administration is rolling back Biden-era airline passenger protections, and airlines will no longer have to provide stranded passengers with meals, hotels, or other assistance for delays or cancellations.
Airlines are no longer required lodging, meals, or other assistance when delays or cancellations.
Starting October 19, under 14 CFR 234.4, rule is to reduce the number of disruptions for which airlines provide amenities or compensation.

These people are destroying sports and destroying small businesses, and they want to take over MA's elections via Question 3. Don't let them. Vote no on 3.

Don't expect a posture against AI data centers or for serious AI regulation to be part of the 'Democratic Party's future'. The billionaires funding the group hosting this summit, @MajorityDems, include Stephen Mandel, who profits from the construction of AI data centers, and tech oligarchs like Reid Hoffman and Joe Lonsdale.
New this morning: A group of potential 2028 candidates is heading to Denver nine days after the midterms to talk about the Democratic Party’s future. Here’s the initial lineup: cnn.com/2026/10/06/politics/…
My sister's longtime dentist practice got bought out by a private equity-backed dental group four months ago.
Same office. Same hygienists. Same chairs. Zero new equipment.
Last week they sent the new fee schedule for anyone with insurance.
A routine cleaning that used to run $120 is now billed at $310, with the group quietly dropping several insurance plans they used to accept.
When patients asked why, the new regional manager gave a scripted line about "aligning with market standards."
Private equity figured out the same trick everywhere.
They're buying up the things you can't opt out of: dental, veterinary care, urgent care, hospice, because they know you can't just skip your kid's cavity or your dog's surgery.
This isn't inflation. It's leveraged debt getting loaded onto places you have no choice but to keep paying.
All this.
She’s still persisting. And fighting.
A hill I’m willing to die on:
Elizabeth Warren is the most underappreciated senator in the country.
She’s one of the few who has never taken AIPAC PAC money, doesn’t trade individual stocks, and publicly posts her tax returns every year.
She’s just as progressive as Bernie Sanders.
She introduces far more bills than the typical senator and works both sides of the aisle to get them passed.
This is a must read. Book marking this so when people tell me open primaries lead to more diverse candidates, I have more arguments on why you should vote NO, especially if you care deeply about Black political power.
No on Ballot Question #3.
Jungle Primaries/top2/All Party Primaries/the California model systematically discriminates against Black voters and Women, especially targeting Black Women. Because Black Women are the backbone of the Democratic Party, and overrepresent in Democratic primary voting #mapoli

Right now, a middle-class nurse pays a higher payroll tax rate than a highly-paid CEO. That's wrong.
It's time to protect Social Security by scrapping the cap so higher-income earners and wealthy investors pay their fair share—preventing benefits cuts for everyone.
Facing a looming Social Security crisis, some Republicans are considering raising the payroll tax cap, breaking from their long-standing pledge never to raise taxes. wapo.st/3SPVI2O
Women, who are the heart of the floral industry, deserve a union.
The main floral association lobbies against raising the minimum wage. Most employees do no receive any benefits or PTO because it is a industry of small, poorly run businesses.
Floral designers are so bad ass.
