I know it’s only Anderson’s second game for Manchester City and he deserves time, but we also have to judge what we’re watching.
Today was really uninspiring again. He lost too many duels, Bournemouth were able to counter through the midfield far too easily and Anderson struggled to make a meaningful impact.
At £116m, you're carrying enormous expectations from day one. He may eventually become an outstanding signing, but these opening two performances have been nowhere near the standard that price tag demands.

🤓 In fact, these extracts ARE consistent with City's case. I have not reviewed the full report but those 2 extracts distinguish debt and equity from subsidies. Once debt is raised or equity is issued, the cash proceeds become "liquidity" of Etihad.
Subsidies are, in this sense, gifts and the funder gets nothing. Equity is dilutive and shareholder loans are repayable. Neither are "subsidies". This detail does matter and is potentially undermined elsewhere in those docs. I haven't checked.
