Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi is either a genius or he just made a big mistake by his Constitution lecture. So Advocate Ngcukaitobi held a masterclass about our constitution with students and filmed it for public view. I have no doubt about what effects will result from such a video. That for me is certain. What I am not sure about is his intention behind it. I will start with why I say he may have made a huge mistake. If his intention was to stop people from doing things and help the course of immigrants, then this is a mistake. Personally I do not think this is the case. I believe he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. And he made a GENIUS play without even doing anything because in that entire video he’s not even teaching. He’s just asking questions and correcting the students where they are wrong. I think he realized that South Africans do not understand how to fight and where to fight, and he is showing them “Hey guys! You are busy doing things out there but everything is happening here in this book called the Constitution.” Your battle must be here. I feel like he is giving us a gift. A back-heel pass and he’s even telling us how to do it. He is even making us aware that we can change what we do not like in that book. He’s even telling us how. By telling our parties what we want. If a political party does not have amendment of the Constitution in their manifesto going forward then they do not get our vote. Simple. Even those who march with us in the streets if they do not talk about amendment of the constitution then we will not vote for them. And if they lie and say they will amend and once they get into power they do not do it, then next election we remove them. Simple. We are not playing here. So regardless of his intention, the effects and the result from that will be the same. Now we know where the next battle will be. The next war is going to be between the people trying to change the constitution and being blocked by corrupt politicians who have aligned their interests with the monopoly. And the people will win.
