wow. what if Google + TPUs were to wipe out openAI + GPUs and all the circular financing? that would truly be an epic plot twist. and i wouldn’t bet against it, especially given how precarious OpenAI’s finances appear to be.

🚨 AOC just confirmed what we’ve all suspected: The House GOP is refusing to reconvene because the final vote to release the Epstein Files is locked and they’re stalling to stop it. They won’t swear in Adelita Grijalva. They shut down the government. All to bury the truth.

The AI world has changed dramatically over the last few months. People like Altman used to dismiss me, and my skepticism, and get away with it. That dodge is no longer flying. A new @Wired essay by @stevenlevy in which he confronts Altman makes that vivid: “GPT-5 was the most hyped AI system of all time,” full-time bubble-popper Gary Marcus told me . “It was supposed to deliver two things, AGI and PhD-level cognition, and it didn't deliver either of those. What’s more, he says, the seemingly lackluster new model is proof that OpenAI’s ticket to AGI—massively scaling up data and chip sets to make its systems exponentially smarter—can no longer be punched. For once, Marcus’ views were echoed by a sizable portion of the AI community” [emphasis added] When Levy asks this, Altman tries to duck, using his old rhetorical trick of trying to paint me as an isolated critic. But this time Levy pushes back: he notes that my views are gaining traction, precisely because Altman has not delivered what he promised. Altman’s reply to Levy, when Levy points this out, is almost comically weak “Well, it’s not only Gary, I say. Altman straightens up in his chair. “What I can tell you with confidence is GPT-6 will be significantly better than GPT-5, and GPT-7 will be significantly better than GPT-6. And we have a pretty good track record on these.” More promises, as ever — but little of intellectual substance. The tide is changing; skepticism is rising.

The government is in full shutdown and the Republicans are refusing to call the House back into session. Want to know why? Because we have secured the final vote on releasing the Epstein Files and they don’t want it out. Call GOP and tell them to swear in @AdelitaForAZ.

So let me get this straight. DECADES of #Autism research (not 20 years - not 40 years - 80 YEARS) didn’t find a link proving causation due to medications but RFK found one in a few weeks? Even when autism predates Tylenol by almost 15 years? Yeah, that sounds plausible. Fuck off.

Meanwhile, back in reality, California — the 4th largest economy in the world — is running on 2/3rds clean energy with 25% of all new car sales being ZEVs. Not to mention, billions going back into the pockets of millions of Californians!
.@POTUS: “Climate change is the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world…If you don’t get away from the green energy scam, your country is going to fail.” 👏

The Bible says the Antichrist will — Deceive with religion – he will appear spiritual but actually turn people away from Christ (Matthew 24:24; 1 John 2:22). — Be a deceiver – he will mislead people while appearing strong or righteous (1 John 2:18, 2 Thessalonians 2:9). — Exalt himself – he will set himself up as the greatest, boasting and demanding loyalty (2 Thessalonians 2:4). — Speak blasphemously – he will speak arrogantly and against God (Revelation 13:5–6). — Be lawless – he will disregard rules, norms, and higher authority (2 Thessalonians 2:3). — Gain global influence – he will be admired and followed by multitudes (Revelation 13:7–8). — Use deceptive signs – he will use spectacle to keep people convinced (2 Thessalonians 2:9–10; Matthew 24:24).

Hey America, not to brag or anything but our PM can pronounce “acetaminophen,” knows autism existed before Tylenol, he understands tariffs - and, small detail - he isn’t a pedophile. But hey, when you live above a meth lab, you really appreciate having a grown up in charge.🇨🇦✌🏼

Let me go ahead and send my thoughts and prayers to all that plan to take their medical advice from someone who I am old enough to remember also told people to inject themselves with bleach. Why is ignorance being elevated while intelligence is being denigrated?
