Should it be a requirement to share personal pronouns? Some thoughts on inclusive deliberative spaces, from a Foucauldian and intersectional perspective. Alessandra Tanesini (@Ale1808) was kind enough to include my brief post on her blog, Open for Debate!👇blogs.cardiff.ac.uk/openford…
Busy months, many cool things, with the awesome closing conference for the @erc_sea project ⭐and⭐ our workshop on Co-creating Knowledge[s] with @katfurman on Streetcorner epistemology. Thank you, Katherine, and fellow organisers @IrisLechner, @CCSRulkens & Nora Kindermann! 💜❤️
A short while ago I wrote a short essay for the Dutch philosophy blog Bij Nader Inzien, on the kinds of knowledge we might gain from emotions. Very fun to write, hopefully the first of many! 😄 Linked below for my fellow Dutch-speakers! 👇

Last week the @erc_sea team did a symposium on political epistemology of argumentation at the #ECAP11.🤓
I greatly enjoyed the panel, and really think we managed to have a fruitful conversation with the audience✨and✨offered a fun synthesis of the separate talks. #lifegoals!😄
Panel discussion at the end of the symposium--or alternatively, police lineup of the usual suspects 😆 @hugormota @Natalan @solmuanttila @MMTalbi
The ECAP starts tomorrow in Vienna, and we're there for it! To show our excitement, we even have a very pretty 💫poster💫, made by the awesome @Natalan!
The @erc_sea team will all be in Vienna for ECAP next week, and we'll be presenting our symposium 'Political Epistemology of Argumentation' on Thursday morning (rather early 🙄). Do show up if that's your jam! @solmuanttila @MMTalbi @Natalan @hugormota
Lots of fun seeing many other Dutch (based) philosophers at the @OZSWNL conference at @LeidenU last week. Inspiring talks by @VuPhilosophy colleagues, such as @IrisLechner, @emmadorehorgan1, and many others. Also got to do a talk about space in a *very* fancy room. 🤓
A huge thank you to everyone at @CPE_Network for a wonderful inaugural workshop! Compliments and thanks especially for the organizing committee, @solmuanttila, @SonjaRiegler1, @StephanieDeig, @flora_xvl & @MeliSchmeli! Great conversations, kind people, cool format - good times!🙏
Also a wave 👋 to everyone in the subgroup on social categories, identities and agency, Nora, @flora_xvl, @thisismagdo, Maëlle, and @ariane_rh. It was lovely to talk longer and to discover our common interest in philosophical methods. 💪 Glad that more conversations are to come!
Greatly looking forward to this event on Thursday, about the book Sikh Philosophy by Arvind-Pal Singh Mandair, organized by prof. Monika Kirloskar. It'll include both a short lecture on the book and replies using sources from the @UBVU library collection. And: it's hybrid!😁
Had a blast at @UAntwerpen for the MA-class on City Living, by the fantastic @QuillRKukla - it was lovely to talk! Also had the pleasure of meeting @lopezcanterop, Martha Claeys, Lara Schrijver, Kristien Hens and many others. Thank you so much @KatrienSchaubr for having me!🙏
