During a heated argument with her husband (GEWN), she grabbed her dachshund by the ear/scruff area and dropped or slammed it onto the floor. She then said something to the effect of “Jesus, I just killed the dog.” The dog is a dachshund (a breed highly prone to intervertebral disc disease and spinal injuries), which made the rough handling especially alarming to viewers. Older clips of her roughly handling a cat also circulated. The video sparked major backlash on Reddit (r/LivestreamFail), X, and elsewhere. YouTuber MoistCr1TiKaL criticized it, and Lavlune was subsequently banned from Kick. She defended the incident by claiming the dog’s feet were on the ground and that she was simply putting it down, but many people (including dachshund owners) rejected that explanation.
