Where do you think the price of gas will be tomorrow if you wake up in the morning to find out that several nuclear weapons were detonated over in the Middle East? How about the price literally everything else as well?

60% OF EVERYTHING: MBS cannot defend Saudi lands and nobody dares to come to help. US aircraft base will soon be wiped out. MBS will escape to Estepona (all rich Saudis live there), just like Shah of Iran escaped 47 years ago. Then... things will get very interesting: Houthis + Iran will control both the Persian Gulf & the Red Sea & effectively 60% of global oil reserves & their transport routes. That, to me... paves the path to WW3:
Renewed alerts in Riyadh & Al Kharj few minutes ago. (02h19 UTC) *Al Kharj hosts Prince Sultan Air Base, where US forces are deployed. Airspace disruption over the area.

The amount of business that will fail over the next year is going to be almost unimaginable. This is going to get really, really bad...for SO many out there.

Squirrels on suicide missions have knocked out power to Castle Rock, Colorado twice this week. Our investigation has revealed a century of squirrel attacks covered up by the pro-squirrel media.

Hey Claude, "Pick a problem or mystery that obsesses you and solve it as best you can & make a movie we can share on social media about it" So it took a crack at the Voynich Manuscript & failed. Then it made this movie, which is pretty interesting to watch and a good explainer.

You can pretty much cancel both Thanksgiving and Christmas at this point. Whatever your plans are for that, if they involve leaving home at all, I'd seriously rethink them.

We don't realize it yet, but we're just millimeters away from a global economic collapse on a scale none of us have ever even imagined. I hope there's a chance to prevent it still, but it's not looking good. I think the die is pretty much cast. Sure hope I'm wrong.

I don't care what your hobbies or past times are, for the next several weeks, put them on hold and set them aside. Instead, keep a VERY close eye on the news and global events. We are really close to some incredibly ugly things unfolding, all around the world.

If you think that things are bad now, just wait until food shortages really start to kick in next year. We are experiencing a global fertilizer crisis, a global fuel crisis, a Super El Niño and World War 3 all at the same time. This is what a “perfect storm” looks like.

Diesel shortages lead to famine. Famine leads to food riots. Food riots lead to martial law. Martial law leads to capital controls. Capital controls lead to bank runs. Bank runs lead to bail-ins. Bail-ins lead to currency collapse. Currency collapse leads to sovereign default. Sovereign default leads to a global margin call. And a global margin call leads to the end of everything you thought was "money." It all starts with one empty fuel tank.

So, what's your plan if gas goes to $15 a gallon over the next 60 days? Oh, don't have one? Don't worry, neither does anyone else.

No one has any concept yet of just how entirely disruptive AI will be to our entire global society here over the next five years. Thousands of companies will be gone and millions of jobs will be entirely wiped out. This is coming - and there's no stopping it.

GOOGLE RESEARCHERS JUST SHOWED A NEW FORM OF RECURSIVE SELF-IMPROVEMENT Nowadays everyone's eye are on RSI and it's happening! This is another fascinating step toward AI systems that can improve how they use their own intelligence. 👀 Google and @GoogleDeepMind researchers introduced Dream-RSI, a framework that lets AI recursively improve its exploration strategy without retraining the underlying coding agent. It turns previous discovery trees into replay simulators, allowing thousands of alternative strategies to be tested against past search experience before deploying the best one in the real environment. What excites me is that the system isn't just trying to generate better answers. It's learning where to search, what to explore in parallel, and when to stop, making the use of compute more efficient.

big AI news Google just demonstrated a recursive self improvement loop for AI discovery Google/DeepMind researchers introduced Dream-RSI, a system where an AI agent improves how it explores problems by replaying its past discovery attempts, testing thousands of alternative strategies cheaply, then deploying the better strategy in the next round. Across algorithm design, mathematical optimization, and GPU kernel engineering, it matched or improved discovery quality while cutting search costs dramatically, in one setting reducing agent calls by up to 162x. 👀 Importantly, it improves the exploration policy, not the underlying model weights.
