Could not agree more! Let’s go #thewelshgangster 💙👊
It’s hard not to root for Oban Elliott, both in fighting and in life.
Tonight, Oban will become only the fourth Welshman 🏴 to fight at the iconic Madison Square Garden. For someone who holds combat sports history in the absolute highest regard, you know this moment means even more to him.
His conversation with Ariel Helwani is truly moving. Oban talks about how proud his late father would be, mental health, following his dream, the promise he made to himself to reach the UFC, pre-fight nerves, and his confidence heading into UFC 309.
Take the time to listen—it’s definitely worth it.
