Never seen a player like Uday Saharan in the past. A very, very confident player. His body language stands out on the ground. Hope this young lad goes on to play for India one fine day. Immense belief in his abilities.

Harjas makes his debut.
Harjas Singh Tandon might play Ranji Trophy for Punjab if not this year, then within the next two. Been brilliant across formats in the domestic circuit. I rate players by game awareness & temperament and Harjas ticks those boxes. Dip, turn, drift. He's a genuine wicket-taker.

Evidence why I support Vrinda Dinesh as number 3 in the Indian side! Her hitting game is getting to elite standards. Shot selection is getting better. Signs are really great and time is right to invest in her talent. I rate her above Anushka Sharma atm instagram.com/reel/Ddbz43UzQ…

Akshita Bhagat considered herself a batting allrounder, and perhaps still does. But winning the WPL Speed Queen changed her career trajectory. She has been fast-tracked into the India A side for her bowling and will be up against Australia A next week. cricinfo.com/story/akshita-b…

Cricket needs a General Manager role who has the biggest say in the decision making, and that person must not be the head coach. (Some teams have Director of Cricket but that person is usually someone of similar background as the head coach even when the requirement of the role is completely different. The major ask here is strategy.) The head coach who's always someone who has played a lot of Cricket is a great choice for player improvement, technique and getting the best out of them. But a GM needs to be a tactical and analytical mind, not necessarily with the playing requirement. In fact, a lot of managers were not players themselves in other sports. Take RCB for example, Mo Bobat's role is exactly what T20 teams need. They've Andy Flower as the Head coach and Bobat in a Director of Cricket role.
