An absolutely incredible rescue story!
For the first time in history, a wounded Ukrainian soldier has been evacuated from the frontline by an aerial drone.
Enemy drones overhead. Mined terrain. No safe way out.
Warriors of Ukraine’s 92nd Assault Brigade modified a heavy hexacopter to rescue their comrade.
When a ground evacuation was impossible, Ukrainian ingenuity made the impossible possible.
Glory to Ukraine’s Defenders!

Ukrainian forces overnight launched the largest attack on the city of St Petersburg of the whole war and managed to confuse Russian air defences via flying close to Estonia and Latvian airspaces on their routes up to the strikes.
The Kremlin was unable to repel the attack.

💥 St. Petersburg hit by one of the largest drone attacks since the war began
Smoke hangs over Putin’s hometown as oil facilities, warehouses, and a data center come under attack. Governor Beglov reports one person killed, five injured, and 12 apartment buildings damaged.
Fires broke out at the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal, the Ruchyi oil depot, and industrial warehouses in the Kolpino district. Ozon confirmed a strike on its warehouse.
A VKontakte data center was also reportedly targeted. Users are reporting outages, although the company insists its services remain unaffected.

BREAKING: The number of restaurants in New York dropped ~2,000 YoY in Q1 2026, posting its largest YoY decline in at least 36 years.
This surpasses even the worst contraction recorded in any quarter during the 2020 pandemic.
The number of eating and drinking places in New York State has now declined YoY for 4 consecutive quarters, its longest streak since 2021.
This comes as restaurants are facing surging operating expenses, including insurance premiums, wages, interest rates, utilities, and health coverage, with overall costs rising faster than national averages.
Last year, employee health insurance costs jumped +12.9% for New York-area service firms, business insurance rose +7.0%, while utility costs surged +8.5%, according to the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
Skyrocketing costs are crushing New York restaurants.
Unfortunately, this applies to all sports. Imagine paying for a subscription in the league’s app and then getting blacked out because it is on Apple TV or Amazon Prime Video or Peacock.

SIX MILLION DOLLARS VANISHED FROM THE KENNEDY CENTER AND DONALD TRUMP'S OWN PEOPLE ARE EATING EACH OTHER ALIVE OVER IT
Alina Habba walks into the Oval Office and tells Trump that Ric Grenell — his own handpicked Kennedy Center boss — never deposited a $5.6 million donation from her billionaire husband
Trump goes nuclear. Orders an internal inquiry on the spot. Furious, according to people in the room
Here's the part that should make you sick. The money was never a straight donation. It was allegedly routed through a $17.6 million commercial deal first, with $5.6 million of it supposed to trickle down to the Kennedy Center
The Kennedy Center's own books show nothing like that. The former finance chief says the only entry tied to this donor is a $270,000 debt, not a six million dollar gift
So somewhere between a billionaire's wire transfer and a federally-subsidized arts institution with Trump's name bolted onto the front, millions of dollars just evaporated
Nobody can say where it went. Nobody can say who has it. Nobody can even agree it ever really existed on paper
This is the institution Trump personally rebranded while ticket sales and donations were already cratering. Now it's not even scandal from outside enemies — it's his own appointees accusing each other of disappearing millions behind closed doors
Grenell says nothing. Habba says Grenell buried it. Trump says investigate. Taxpayers still subsidize the building while this plays out
They turned a national cultural institution into a grift so sloppy they can't even keep their own story straight
This is what "running government like a business" actually looks like — the business is missing six million dollars and nobody's calling the cops
