Happening soon! The aim of @elearnUoS is to seek to bridge the gap between the ‘techie’ & the teacher, giving educators ideas > to help them integrate e-learning into their practice >to inspire them to see where the online future could lead. @MLResearchGroup @CGE_Soton @UoS_CHEP

Diolch @MLResearchGroup for hosting and to @tomvvardle for organising! It was great to discuss my creative research methods to explore linguistic identity and language learning with everyone and no, we are never too old... #creativemethods @cardiffmlang – at Skewen, Wales
Many thanks/diolch to @ElinArfon for a very interactive workshop on using creative methods, such as emoji boards and language timelines, to examine students' linguistic identity. Not even postgraduates are too old to try it. We can't wait to see how your research evolves! 🌐🗣️🎓

I’ll write something about the Catalan crisis soon, but I’m going to be discussing that, the upcoming general election and the Spanish Constitution tomorrow with @MLResearchGroup in Southampton! Everyone is welcome and refreshments are provided. A bargain if I do say so myself.

Fortunately though we do have an expert in the Spanish Constitution in @joepatrickhealy coming to Southampton tomorrow for @MLResearchGroup 😏
I'm no expert but this Catalan sedition situation was caused by a lack of dialogue between separatists & Spanish unionists, imo. Any action to try & secede from Spain was always going to be illegal as it's unconstitutional. This can only be resolved with dialogue #SentenciaProces
