“Living standards are falling for us.” Yet UK banks just posted £29bn in half-year profits. Lloyds’ profits jumped 99% to £2.3bn as mortgage rates hit 6%, while Shell doubled its profits to £8bn. This isn’t just an economic crisis; it’s a wealth transfer.

“Brighton will be forced to sell soon because of the rules”
That’s a common misconception I see on here even from some of our fans sometimes.
Brighton don’t have to sell because of the rules. In fact Brignton are one of the clubs net positive in the last 5 years or so. Brighton don’t *have* to sell.
Brighton sell because players will always want to play as high up the football pyramid they can. It’s completely normal
and we do the same when we take the best young players from clubs below us in the pyramid.
And we are moving up the pyramid YoY

No. This is not serious foul play.
No swinging arm, no excessive force. It’s simply reckless which justifies a yellow card.
It’s important that ignorant and incorrect rhetoric not be allowed to spread around.

The commentary on TNT sports is like watching from behind three bores in the pub that will not shut up @tntsports

So true. It's gone on for far far too long. Fletcher thinks we tune in to listen to his loud opinions not to watch the game. Massively self important, complete opposite of the great commentators of the past. Just call the game man. @footballontnt @DFletcherSport

Joe Cole;
Martinez elbowed in the first half : “ he does that all the time , not a foul”
Martinez arm across the chest second half ; “ what was he thinking”
Fair enough it’s a penalty, but the commentating bias is palpable. TNT unprofessional

This of course was ignored or roundly cheered by most people for decades because United once won a lot of trophies and that made them grumpy.

Commentators waxing lyrical about that Morgan Rogers goal when he literally was allowed to jog in a straight line by our defence dear lord

Why am I listening to Joe Cole calling in individual brilliance when genuinely, and I honestly am trying to find a different way to describe it, he runs in a straight line
